A while back, someone joined one of our trips alone.

They were quiet during the first few minutes of the journey. You know how it is. New faces. New environment. A little awkwardness here and there.

By lunchtime, they were chatting with everyone.

By evening, they were taking photos with people they'd only met that morning.

A few weeks later, they signed up for another trip and this time they already knew half the group.

And that's when it hit us.

Travel isn't always about the waterfalls, the beaches, the mountains or the photos.

Sometimes it's about the people you meet along the way.

The laughter during a hike.
