The hike has been moved from 1st–7th August back to its original dates of 12th–18th August to accommodate those who had already planned their schedules around our initial itinerary.

And now… behold the mother of all day hikes.
A legendary traverse linking Elephant Hill, Mt. Kinangop, and the 12 Apostles—the ultimate test in the Aberdare Range.

Known as the Southern Nyandarua Traverse, this route is one of the most gruelling yet deeply rewarding trekking experiences around. Extreme distance, serious altitude, and wildly unpredictable weather make it a challenge built for seasoned hikers.

That said, it’s not all or nothing—hikers can jump on the wagon to tackle Elephant Hill only, or push as far as their legs and lungs allow 💪.
Even the elite have option of doing all three summits or Elephant Hill and Kinangop or Elephant Hill and 12 Apostles.
