One hundred metres above Lake Nakuru, morning begins in silence,until the flamingos lift from the water.

The Cliff rests on a volcanic ledge inside Lake Nakuru National Park, within the UNESCO-listed Kenya Lake System. Ten tented suites, each holding a 180° sweep of lake and valley; rhino, giraffe and more than 400 bird species for neighbours.

A bath drawn toward the water. Breakfast among flamingos and pelicans. Every comfort exists to bring you closer to the wild,never to keep it out. It is, admittedly, a difficult place to leave.

We travel gently: hand-crafted journeys that give back to the communities of the Rift Valley.
