Does the US embassy crosscheck with the bank directly, the statement presented by an individual in need of a visa, especially in the case of borrowed funds?

No US consular officer should check with a bank to confirm the status of a statement presented in support of a nonimmigrant visa application.

In the first place, most respectable banks will not talk about a customer’s account over the telephone with anyone but the account holder.

Second, and far more important, there is no way to be sure that, even if a visa applicant has money in a bank, that s/he hasn’t borrowed it just for that effect, is actually planning to return to visit it, or won’t immediately transfer it to an account in the US.

So, no US officer should ask for a bank statement, or accept one, as anything in the way of proof that the visa applicant will go home after a short visit. It simply isn’t proof of anything like that.

What is the probable question asked in us visa?

if he is happy mood: he will ask you

Sir, what's your date of birth ?

If he is in a bad mood

Sir , what is my date of birth.

Jokes apart, depends on what application visa category you filled, every question will be related with your DS-160 and as per your visa category. So let's suppose B1/B2 to visit for tourism / friends or to attend conferences or seminars. But usually they ask very basic question in simple possible words and language, they don't ask technical question,

He will ask your purpose of travel ,
What do you do in your , job , business
What is your role in company or what does your company doing
Your salary or your business net returns.
What kind of seminar is it, why you must attend , why you company is sending you , why you company chose you. , what is your designation ? What's you salary ? How long you have been working with his company ? Who is paying for the trip. ? How much money you have in your bank? Have you travelled before for seminars.
You are mostly drilled in this category. seminar / conferences/ exhibition , training program , client meeting , client training program category.
For F1: why you chose this university ? , who will fund? Loan ? How will you or how you plan to repay ? What are your future plans ? What do you want to do after you finish the studies. ?
Usually they ask basic questions , 4 to 5 questions that's all, it's more of conversation. They don't ask question which are not related with your case. They expect you to know the basics.

Is it possible to check your US DV visa lottery results and not be selected, then check later, in a couple of days, or weeks and this time be selected?

“Is it possible to check your US DV visa lottery results and not be selected, then check later, in a couple of days, or weeks and this time be selected?”

That can happen, although rarely. Sometimes there are not enough claimants to reach the required 55,000 issuances, so there is a second, smaller draw. It is always worthwhile to check periodically, just in case. Hi

What happens when students in the UK work over 20 hours per week?

If you are genuinely a UK student, probably nothing, other than that your university work is likely to suffer, and your attendance may slip.

But you are not a UK student, OP. You live in Kenya . If you are coming to be an International student in the UK, on a Student Visa, then the visa rules will say that you may not work for more than 20 hours per week. If you do, and either your academic work or your attendance is badly affected, then the university will be required to notify the UKVI. And this can cause your visa to be revoked, and you to be deported.

That's what can happen.

Hello everyone I found it important to share with you this ..if you are having plans to migrate to U.S or CANADA be keen on this
“Can a visa officer reject your visa based on your nationality and current economic/political situations in your country? (if you are from a 3rd world country.) even though you provide all necessary documents and proof of funds.”

Of course! Visas are not issued to documents, but to individual persons who might or might not be able to convince the consular officer that they intend to do, can do, and will only do what the type of visa they’re applying for allows them to do, under the current circumstances and situations pertaining in that country, at that time.

They must also convince the officer that they are actually qualified to do what they say they intend to do, and that they have excellent reasons to go back home again promptly when those doings are completed.

“Proof of funds” is worth absolutely zero: the holder of such funds has no need to go back home just because s/he has money somewhere. In addition to 100% fraudulent bank statements, you have probably also heard of international funds transfers.
