I decided last minute to grab tickets to game 2 of the Stanley cup and ended up 1 row back from the glass. This game was incredible. Watching the canes win! 10/10. Biggest tip is wait until close to the game because the seats I wanted dropped from $2,700 to $1,100 at 6 pm!

I just booked a lie-flat business class seat to Bali for $1,000.

No points. No travel hacks. Just a really good deal.

People assume premium seats always mean paying $5,000+ or spending years collecting points, but business class fares go on sale too, just like economy.

I’ve flown business class for less than economy more times than most people would believe.

The trick isn’t finding secret hacks.

It’s knowing when the deals show up and grabbing them before they disappear. ✈️

Here’s how to actually get cheap flights ✈️

Tuesdays and Wednesdays are usually the cheapest days to fly, but they’re not necessarily the cheapest days to buy your tickets. People mix those up all the time. It’s about the day you’re sitting in the plane seat, not the day you click purchase.

Bigger airports also tend to have better deals because of supply and demand. One of my favorite strategies is using a positioning flight.

That just means booking a separate flight to a larger airport before your main trip. It usually doesn’t even add extra flights. If you live somewhere smaller like Asheville, NC, you’re probably connecting through Chicago, New York, or Charlotte anyway before heading to Paris.

The difference is that booking separately can sometimes save hundreds or even thousands of dollars, especially in business class.

And yes, business class goes on sale too.

I regularly send business and first class deals for prices that can be the same as, or sometimes even cheaper than, economy. 👀

Turkish Airlines ran a promo where if you flew to 6 continents, they’d give you 1 million miles.

And I’m apparently unhinged enough to do it.

A few details: (the promo is over now)

You had to fly to 6 continents and either start in Istanbul or transit through IST. So yes… there’s a lot of backtracking involved. A route like NYC → Istanbul → Tokyo would only count as Asia.

You had to pay cash too. No points.

And every flight had to be on Turkish Airlines metal, no partner airlines.

I start the first of two trips in less than two weeks and the route is mildly absurd:

USA → Europe → Istanbul → Asia → Istanbul → Europe → Istanbul → South America → USA

All in 15 days.

Completely unhinged, and I’m documenting the whole thing. 🍿✈️

Did you know business and first class go on sale too?

I’ve flown to Europe in business class for less than I’ve paid for economy more times than I can count. (And no… not with points.)

How?

Airlines have sales too. Sometimes premium economy is cheaper than regular economy. Sometimes business class drops below what people are paying for economy seats.

And then there are mistake fares. They’re rare, but they happen.

I send around 12–20 of these kinds of deals every year. Things like $700 round-trip business class to London or cities in Germany. Those are real deals I’ve sent subscribers over the last year.

You don’t need more points to fly in premium seats. You need more patience.
