Latest Regulations for 2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣5️⃣ Work Permit Applications
To help you better understand the 2025 work permit application process, LYLY GROUP hereby issues the following notice:

❇️ New Arrivals (After November 1, 2024):

⭕️No fine is required for individuals who entered Cambodia after November 1, 2024
(including November 1), and have never applied for a work permit.
⭕️Required Documents for 2025 Work Permit Applications (Effective December 5, 2024):

❇️ Overdue Work Permit Penalty:
⭕️Previous Applicants:
• A fine of 💲550 will be imposed for each year from your initial entry date into
Cambodia.
• For example, if you entered in 2022 and are now applying for a 2025 work permit, you will owe a fine of 💲1,650 for the 3-year period.

❇️ Previous Work Permit Holders:
• With Cambodia Exit Record:
• If you have a previous work permit and an corresponding exit stamp from Cambodia, and your re-entry stay is 85 days or less, no fine is required.
• Without Cambodia Exit Record or Extended Stay:
• If you have no exit record or your stay in Cambodia exceeds 85 days, you must calculate and pay the fine as outlined above.

The latest regulations for applying for a labor permit in 2024
In order to help you successfully apply for a labor permit in 2024, LYLY GROUP hereby reminds you:
Situations where no fines are imposed:
• Entering in 2024 and never applying for a labor permit: As long as you enter Cambodia in 2024 and have never applied for a labor permit before, you will not be fined if you submit the materials to us within 90 days to apply for a labor permit.
Situations where a fine is required:
• Holding an expired labor permit: If the labor permit you hold is from 2022 or earlier, you will be fined $500.
• Entering in 2023 without applying for a labor permit: Even if you have entered Cambodia in 2023 but have not applied for a labor permit for 2023, you will be fined $510 when applying for a labor permit for 2024.
Warm Tips:
• Apply in time: It is recommended that you apply for a labor permit as soon as possible to avoid affecting your normal life and work.
