It was established to answer to an increasing demand for learning the Western Art Music and its musical instruments in fast growing Cambodia. We, the school management team and teachers, are dedicated to developing the next generation of musicians, performers, and music educators in the country. mportant music schools/organizations in the country. With primary focus on educating young talented musicians and kids, you are invited to experience a true quality learning experience from a strong music educational establishment, where music is more than just the ability to perform and to have fun, but also involves the emotional, psychological, and intellectual development that support your personal development. We also welcome those who wish to learn music later in life are to enroll in AMS. The Angkor Music School applies Western and European teaching books and methods and Khmer music context. We provide the students the access to up-to-date teaching and learning textbooks being used in Asia, Europe, and America. In order to strengthen the quality of music education and promote performance opportunities for our students and practitioners, the Angkor Music School affiliates with well-known musicians, music institutions, music books/and instruments suppliers in the region including Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Viet Nam and Thailand. Recently, and on a routing basis, AMS offered music workshop (special practicing classes) in cooperation with international musicians and institutions from Japan, United States of America, France, and Germany. Our school is located on the 3rd floor of LyLa Center, with separate rooms for teaching and learning, practicing, performance hall, and administration/counseling rooms. LyLa Center itself, is equipped with an indoor children’s playground, pools, spa areas, Asian and European restaurants, and professional fitness facilities. The center is built on a large prime piece of land in the capital of Phnom Penh (www.lylacenter.com). With this unique combination of facilities, you will be pleasantly surprised with nearly 200 tropical tree species and a tranquil environment for you and your family. Because of our brilliant musicianship foundation, our students will become the finest teachers and practitioners in the field. Our goal is that the students become the best musicians they can be while developing a true appreciation for music.
