Banteay Srei (Khmer: បន្ទាយស្រី is a 10th century CE Cambodian temple dedicated to the Hindu gods Shiva and Parvati. Located in the area of Angkor, it lies near the hill of Phnom Dei, 25 km (16 mi) north-east of the main group of temples that once belonged to the medieval capitals of Yaśodharapura and Angkor Thom.

Banteay Srei is built largely of red sandstone, a medium that lends itself to the elaborate decorative wall carvings which are still observable today. The buildings themselves are miniature in scale, unusually so when measured by the standards of Angkorian construction. These factors have made the temple extremely popular with tourists, and have led to its being widely praised as the jewel of Khmer art.

ប្រាសាទព្រះវិហារ ឬប្រាសាទភ្នំព្រះវិហារ ដែលភាសាសំស្រ្គឹតថាវិហារៈ។ តាមសិលាចារឹកប្រាសាទព្រះវិហារឈ្មោះតាមលិង្គ ដែលតម្កល់ទុកនៅទីនេះ មានឈ្មោះថា ប្រាសាទស្រី សិខារិស្វរៈ ដែលមានន័យថាម្ចាស់នៃកំពូលភ្នំ។ ប្រាសាទព្រះវិហារជាប្រាសាទហិណ្ឌូ។

ប្រាសាទព្រះវិហារ ឬប្រាសាទភ្នំព្រះវិហារ ដែលភាសាសំស្រ្គឹតថាវិហារៈ។ តាមសិលាចារឹកប្រាសាទព្រះវិហារឈ្មោះតាមលិង្គ ដែលតម្កល់ទុកនៅទីនេះ មានឈ្មោះថា ប្រាសាទស្រី សិខារិស្វរៈ ដែលមានន័យថាម្ចាស់នៃកំពូលភ្នំ។ ប្រាសាទព្រះវិហារជាប្រាសាទហិណ្ឌូ។

ក្រុមអ្នកបុរាណវិទ្យាតែងបានគិតថា ជាប្រាសាទដែលមានរបៀបសង់សឹងតែដូចៗគ្នាទៅនឹងសំណង់ដទៃទៀតដែលសិ្ថតក្នុងស្ថាបត្យកម្មរបស់ស្ថេចសូរ្យវរ្មម៌ទី១ គឺបែបប្រាសាទសណ្តូកលើភ្នំ ចាំងច្រិតថ្មភ្នំសាងជាប្រាសាទ ដូចគ្នាទៅនឹងប្រាសាទវត្តភូ ប្រាសាទភ្នំជីសូរ ប្រាសាទជើងព្រៃ ប្រាសាទវត្តត្រាច....ជាដើម។ល។ រីចម្លាក់នៅលើហោរជាងមានទំរង់ដូចនៅប្រាសាទបន្ទាយស្រី និង កោះកេរ ដូច្នោះដែរ ។តាមរយៈការសិក្សាស្រាវជ្រាវអាចសន្មតថា សំណង់ប្រាសាទព្រះវិហារត្រូវបានចាប់ផ្តើមកសាងឡើងដំបូងនៅដើមសតវត្សទី៩ ក្នុងរជ្ជកាល ព្រះបាទ ជ័យវរ្ម័ន​ទី២ (៨០២-៨៥០)។ តាមរយៈសិលាចារឹកលេខ K-៥៨៣ នៅប្រាសាទ បាពួន ចារក្នុងរជ្ជកាល ព្រះបាទ​រាជេន្ទ្រវរ្ម័ន​ទី​២ (៨៤៤-៩៦៨) និយាយថាព្រះអម្ចាស់ឥន្រ្ទាយុទ្ធជាព្រះបុត្រារបស់ព្រះបាទ​ជ័យវរ្ម័ន​ទី២ បានទៅធ្វើតបៈនៅភ្នំលិង្គបព៌ត(ប្រាសាទ​វត្តភូ ចំប៉ាសាក់ ប្រទេស​ទ្បាវ) ហើយបាននាំយកលិង្គព្រះឥសូរពីថ្មលិង្គភ្នំធម្មជាតិ (ស្វយម្ភូលិង្គ) មកតម្កល់នៅលើភ្នំព្រះវិហារក្នុងព្រះនាមអាទិទេព ព្រះស្រីសិខរីស្វរៈ ដែលមានន័យថាអាទិទេពនៃកំពូលភ្នំ។ ស្រីសិខរីស្វរៈនេះហើយដែលហៅចំពោះលិង្គព្រះឥសូរតម្កល់នៅប្រាសាទព្រះវិហារ និងជាឈ្មោះប្រាសាទព្រះវិហារសម័យបុរាណផង។ ប្រាសាទព្រះវិហារសាងសង់សម្រាប់ឧទ្ទិសចំពោះ ព្រះឥសូរ ក្នុងសាសនាព្រាហ្មណ៍។ ព្រះមហាក្សត្រខ្មែរដែលកសាងប្រាសាទព្រះវិហារមានដូចជា៖

ព្រះមហាក្សត្រដែលបានកសាងប្រាសាទព្រះវិហារ និងជួសជុលប្រាសាទ ដែលលេចធ្លោមានដូចជា៖

ព្រះបាទយសោវរ្ម័នទី១៖ ព្រះអង្គបានសាងសង់ប្រាសាទកណ្តាល។

ព្រះបាទសូរ្យវរ្ម័នទី១៖ ព្រះអង្គបានសាងសង់អគារដ៏វែងនៅជិតប្រាង្គកណ្តាល កំពែងព័ន្ធជុំវិញ និងគោបុរៈទី៣។ យោងតាមសិលាចារឹករបស់ប្រាសាទ ព្រះបាទសូរ្យវរ្ម័នទី១ បានរៀបចំពិធីដើម្បីអញ្ចើញទេវៈ ភទ្រស្វរៈ ដែលគង់នៅវត្តភូ (ប្រទេសឡាវ) មកគង់នៅជាមួយនិងទេវៈ ស្រីសិខរិស្វរៈ ដើម្បីជួយការពារ និងថែរក្សាអាណាចក្រខ្មែរ និងប្រជារាស្រ្ត។

ព្រះបាទជ័យវរ្ម័នទី៦៖ ព្រះអង្គបានសាងសង់ហោត្រៃ ឬបណ្ណាល័យពីរ និងជួសជុលផ្នែកមួយចំនួននៃប្រាសាទ។

ព្រះបាទសូរ្យវរ្ម័នទី២៖ ព្រអង្គបានសាងសង់ព្រះលាន ដែលមាននាគក្បាលប្រាំពីរ រូបតោតាមផ្លូវ និងនាគជាច្រើនទៀតតាមជណ្តើរឡើង។ ព្រះអង្គបានរៀបចំពិធីសម្ពោធប្រាសាទ និងចាត់ទុកជាកន្លែងគោរពសម្រាប់ព្រះមហាក្សត្រគ្រប់រូប។

តាមការស្រាវជ្រាវពីឯកសារប្រវត្តិសាស្រ្តខ្មែរជាច្រើន បានឱ្យដឹងថា ប្រាសាទព្រះវិហារត្រូវបានស្ថាបនាឡើងពីថ្មភក់ ចាប់តាំងពីរជ្ជកាល ព្រះបាទសូរ្យវរ្ម័នទី១ ។ ព្រះបាទសូរ្យវរ្ម័នទី១ សោយរាជ្យ នៅពាក់កណ្តាលទីមួយនៃសតវត្សទី១១។ ទីតាំងធ្វើប្រាសាទ ដែលស្ថិតនៅលើទីខ្ពស់ជាងគេ នោះមានកំពស់ ៦២៥ម៉ែត្រ (ឯកសារបារាំង) ឬ៦១៥ម៉ែត្រ (ឯកសារអង់គ្លេស) ។ ប្រវត្តិនៃការកសាងប្រាសាទព្រះវិហារ មាននៅលើសិលាចារឹកខ្មែរនៅ ប្រាសាទបាពួន ក្នុងខេត្តសៀមរាប គឺK-៥៨៣ ៖ អ្នកដែលចារសិលាចារឹកគឺមានឈ្មោះ ហរិវាហៈ នៅក្នុងរជ្ជកាលព្រះបាទរាជេន្រ្ទវរ្ម័នទី១ ឆ្នាំ៩៤៤ ដល់ ឆ្នាំ៩៦៨ នៃគ.ស ។ បានចារជាភាសាសំស្រ្កឹត និងជាភាសាខ្មែរបុរាណ ។ បានចារថា មានព្រះអង្គម្ចាស់មួយអង្គព្រះនាម ឥន្រ្ទាយុទ្ធ លោកបានយកលិង្គមួយ ឈ្មោះ ស្រីសិខរិស្វរៈ មកតាំងនៅ និងមកប្រតិស្ឋនៅទីនេះ គឺប្រាសាទព្រះវិហារនេះ។ ព្រះអង្គលោកខ្លាំងពូកែខ្លាំងណាស់ ។ លោកមានមហិទ្ធិឫទ្ធិ ទៅច្បាំងជាមួយនឹងស្តេចចាម ហើយចាប់ស្តេចចាមនោះបានទៀត ។ ចំពោះសេចក្តីសិលាចារឹកនេះ អ្នកប្រាជ្ញខាងប្រវត្តិសាស្ត្រគិតថា មិនមានសិលាចារឹកឯណាទៀត និយាយពីចម្បាំងទៅចាប់ស្តេចចាមនោះទេ ក៏ប៉ុន្តែស្តេចដែលលោកចាប់បាននោះ ប្រហែលជាមិនមែនជាស្តេចចាម ដែលត្រួតប្រទេសចាមទាំងមូលនោះទេ ។ ប្រហែលជាស្តេចអង្គតូចមួយ ដែលត្រួតនៅនគរមួយ ដែលមានព្រំប្រទល់នៅជាប់នឹងប្រទេសខ្មែរ។ ប្រាសាទព្រះវិហារ ត្រូវបានបារាំងប្រគល់ទៅឱ្យប្រទេសថៃកាន់កាប់នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៥៤ ហើយត្រូវបានប្រគល់ឱ្យព្រះរាជាណាចក្រកម្ពុជាវិញតាមសាលក្រមចុះថ្ងៃទី១៥ ខែមិថុនា ឆ្នាំ១៩៦២ នៅតុលាការអន្តរជាតិនៅ ទីក្រុងឡាអេប្រទេសហូឡង់។

Preah Vihear Temple (ប្រាសាទព្រះវិហារ Prasat Preah Vihear) is an ancient Hindu temple built by the Khmer Empire.
Construction of the first temple on the site began in the early 9th century. Both then and in the following centuries, it was dedicated to the Hondu god Shiva in his manifestations as the mountain gods Sikharesvara and Bhadresvara. The earliest surviving parts of the temple, however, date from the Koh Ker period in the early 10th century, when the empire's capital was at the city of that name. Today, elements of the Banteay Srei style of the late 10th century can be seen, but most of the temple was constructed during the reigns of the Khmer kings Suryavarman I (1006–1050) and Suryavarman II (1113–1150). An inscription found at the temple provides a detailed account of Suryavarman II studying sacred rituals, celebrating religious festivals, and making gifts, including white parasols, golden bowls, and elephants, spiritual advisor, the aged Brahmin Divakarapandita. The Brahmin himself took an interest in the temple, according to the inscription, donating to it a golden statue of a dancing Shiva known as Nataraja. In the wake of the decline of Hinduism in the region, the site was converted to use by Buddhists.

Neak Pean (or Neak Poan) ប្រាសាទនាគព័ន្ធ,
Neak Pean was originally designed for medical purposes (the ancients believed that going into these pools would balance the elements in the bather, thus curing disease); it is one of the many hospitals that Jayavarman VII built. It is based on the ancient Hindu belief of balance. Four connected pools represent Water, Earth, Fire and Wind. Each is connected to the central water source, the main tank, by a stone conduit "presided over by one of Four Great Animals (maha ajaneya pasu) namely Elephant, Bull, Horse, and Lion, corresponding to the north, east, south, and west quarters....The stone conduits in the little pavilions are fashioned to represent the heads of the Four Great Animals...the only exception being that on the east, which represents a human head instead of a bull's."[9] Originally, four sculptures stood on the floor of the lake. The only remaining statue is that of the horse Balaha, a form of the bodhisattva Avalokitesvara, saving sailors from the ogresses of Tamradvipa. The temple on the lake was originally dedicated to Avalokitesvara. Willetts believed that "this is Jayavarman as he would have wished to have appeared to his people"[9]

The Baphuon (ប្រាសាទបាពួន) is a temple at Angkor, Cambodia. It is located in Angkor Thom, northwest of the Bayon. Also called "golden mountain" (svarnādrī), the Baphuon is built on an artificial hill. The temple was originally dedicated to Shiva and late converted to a Theravada Buddhist temple.
The dating of the temple has been fractious; recent work has shown that it was not built during the reign of Udayādityavarman II, as is popularly reported. In 2015 a French team directly dates four iron crampons integrated into the structure using the AMS Carbon-14 method, revealed the construction was much earlier than thought and can now be considered as the major temple associated with Suryavarman I (1010–1050CE), a ruler which had no temple previously associated with his reign.
