Here is a great article from the BBC on some of the less well known areas of the Kingdom of Wonder, and beautiful things you can see here.

The Kampong Kdei bridge is a bit over an hour from Angkor Wat and Siem Reap. The fact the bridge is still used, is a testament to the skill of the Cambodian people, even back then! :)

I love the nine-headed naga that is guarding the crossing.

Did you know that when visiting Angkor Wat and surrounding temples there are two main routes that are used. They are known as the small map and the big map. There are also temples, such as Beng Mealea.

Beng Mealea is further east of what you can see on this map but is a beautiful temple that nature is trying to make a part of the forest while restorers try to help nature join in the beauty of the temple.

If you decide you would like to see this temple, which is also popular with couples who are about to be married, I would be happy to take you there. There is even a small area for you to buy your Angkor park tickets from on the way :)
