A gift that is truly heaven sent. One fruit gives way to another. Although you can find mangoes and avocadoes in St. Kitts at the same time (after all, I've been eating avocadoes for some months now), this is more peak avocado season. Having two of my favorite things to eat back-to-back is a wonderful Caribbean treat!

Cancer season calls us inward.

I, myself, have had to do some deep reflection on my journey so far.
I’ve had to listen closely to that voice within and open myself up to change.

I know many won’t understand the choices I’ve made to protect my peace and pursue healing — and that’s okay.
It’s not for them to understand.
It’s for me to live.

Because I do trust my intuition.
And I’ve learned to follow that quiet, steady voice within — wherever it leads me.

Despite the battles I face with enjoying mangoes during the season, I managed to get nine of them this morning. Since this one was a twin... do you think I can count it as 10?

All mango season I have to fight!😠

If you know, you know. Between the dog, the chickens and the birds, these mangoes barely stand a chance out here and I barely stand a change in getting any of them.

Before, it seemed my opponents were winning. But today? I finally got my share in on all the juicy goodness. 🥭🥭🥭

But I guess that's the fate of an island gal who can't climb trees. The fight is real, but always worth it. I can get my share of the mangoes, while I patiently wait for the Nevis Mango Festival to begin.
