Once upon a time, Myeongdong used to be the most crowded place in Korea.

It used to be the most popular place for the overseas tourists because it was full of wonderful shopping districts, great chains of restaurants, and amazing streetfood. Plus, there are so many good hotels around so that you can just enjoy your time nearby your residence. Nowadays many shops are empty with the sign 'for rent, and you can see some local koreans shopping.

Maybe it might be even better for some tourists who donot like to stay in the crowded place like you can see in the photo..
