Before: a palace of mirrors, light, and memory. A place where history lived quietly in every corner.
After: cracks, dust, and a silence that feels different.
Not gone, but changed.
This is what war does.
It doesn’t need to destroy everything to leave something broken.
Golestan Palace still stands but it carries the mark of violence it never deserved. And beyond these walls, thousands of innocent people have lost their lives.
When human lives are taken,
and heritage is struck, this is not collateral damage.
This is a WAR CRIME.
