Here’s an update in pictures to our last post: large tomatoes: first place, grape tomatoes: first place, 3 different kind of coconuts: first, second and third place, key limes: first place, pomegranate 2nd place. Our tomato season is almost finished, but our key limes, pomegranates and of course coconuts are still going strong. 

Our guests will start to arrive on April 2 for the next 6 months. They will be able to eat what we’ve planted this Winter, plus new fruits will be coming in season, such as papayas, Barbados cherries and dragon fruits. We have a good selection of fresh herbs too.

We’re gathering our finest in-season fruits and vegetables from the Bliss Garden and getting them show-ready for tomorrow’s agricultural competition—freshly picked and looking their absolute best.

Let’s just say… some of them are already acting like they’ve won first place 🍌😄

It’s like butterfly traffic—white butterflies constantly passing by in singles and small groups from morning to evening.

The surge of white butterflies (likely Great Southern Whites) in Cayman Brac and the wider Cayman Islands is an annual, seasonal event driven by favorable weather conditions, such as the start of the rainy season, which boosts their food sources. This population boom occurs during mating season, with caterpillars feeding on plants like "Raw Bones" (Bloody Head).

It’s 30F (-1C) in Miami and 1 hour by flight from Miami, it’s 73F (23C) here in Cayman Brac.

No need to go to the parrot reserve, they are plentiful at Bliss around our beautiful almond tree! The Cayman Brac parrots are difficult to spot but easy to hear.
