BREAKING: Convicted Trump-loving MAGA maniac who threatened to kill Democratic officials is ON THE RUN after failing to report for her 27-month prison sentence.
It’s time to issue an All-points Bulletin.
Abigail Shry — a Texas woman who pleaded guilty to making violent and racist threats against public officials — was supposed to report to federal prison this week.
Instead, she vanished, and now there’s a bench warrant out for her arrest.
Shry was sentenced to 27 months behind bars after leaving a vile, threatening voicemail for U.S. District Judge Tanya Chutkan — the judge assigned to oversee Donald Trump’s 2020 election conspiracy case. According to prosecutors, Shry spewed racist slurs and warned: “If Trump doesn’t get elected in 2024, we’re coming to kill you.”
That wasn’t a one-off.
Court records show she also threatened then-Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee, saying she would target her “personally, publicly, your family, all of it.” She allegedly warned Texas lawmakers there would be “war on the Capitol” if Attorney General Ken Paxton were impeached — promising an armed attack “more violent than Jan. 6.”
And they wonder why they’re considered “deplorables.”
Federal prosecutors once described Shry as “unmoored” and dangerous. At a detention hearing, one prosecutor chillingly warned he didn’t want to be “that FBI agent” who failed to act before tragedy struck.
Now the woman who threatened mass political violence has skipped her self-surrender date at a federal prison in Florida. No show. No explanation. Just gone.
Her failure to report doesn’t just violate a court order — it opens her up to even more criminal charges. Former prosecutors say fleeing undermines the trust courts extend when defendants are allowed to remain free before serving time.
Here’s the bigger picture: For years, extremist rhetoric has been normalized, excused, and winked at. But threats against judges, members of Congress, and state officials aren’t “political speech.” They’re crimes.
And when someone who promised armed attacks disappears instead of facing consequences, it’s not just a legal issue. It’s a flashing red warning sign.
Authorities are now tasked with tracking her down.
Because accountability doesn’t just apply to people you disagree with.
It applies to everyone.
