MADAGASCAR: I only spent a few weeks in this country. I wish I would’ve spent at least a month. I visited the North while here. The country is beautiful and the people are so kind. I was a solo traveler and felt safe everywhere I went including walking the dark streets after a power outage at night in Diego Suarez. I will eventually update kimsegal.com with tips and advice but in the meantime, if you’re planning a trip feel free to DM me and I can try to answer any questions you may have. My best advice to you is if you are thinking of Madagascar stop thinking and book your trip you won’t regret it.

Kenya: I highly recommend Tangulia Mara Camp if you’re planning a Safari to the Maasai Mara and looking for a place to stay. I always use Intrepid Expeditions to find the place that suits me best when I go on Safari.
