⚠️ Important Operational Update – Fuel Price Situation in Laos
Dear valued partners,
We would like to inform you of an important situation currently affecting cruise operations in Laos.
Due to the unexpected oil price crisis linked to the Middle East situation, diesel prices in Laos have increased by more than 35% in a very short period of time. As diesel represents one of the major operational costs for our Mekong cruises, this sudden increase is significantly impacting operating conditions.
At this stage, our priority is to maintain our current cruise rates and avoid passing this cost increase on to our partners and their clients. However, in order to continue operating sustainably, we may need to optimize some departures and adjust certain cruise dates, especially when passenger numbers are too low to operate under reasonable conditions.
For this reason, our team may occasionally contact you regarding specific bookings in order to propose alternative departure dates, whenever necessary.
Please be assured that these decisions are taken carefully, with the objective of maintaining the quality of our operations while limiting any negative impact on our mutual guests.
As the fuel situation remains uncertain for the coming weeks, we are closely monitoring developments and will keep you informed should any operational adjustments become necessary.
