"Ruk Diya "- Eco stop was established since 2005,and developed as a wellknown eco over for local & foreign visitors who visit Hambanthota district,Ruk Diya is an small run operation, dedicated to the conservation of environment while ensuring any visitor with relaxing, enjoyable & memarable stay
As an step towards our expansion to the existing establishment, I intended to proposed the following camping site to Ruk Diya - Eco Stop at a land which owned by me
PROPOSED CAMPING SITE WITH TREE HOUSE:
Land close to Ridiyagama Safari park(In front of very beautiful lake "Aluth Wewa")[see attached site plan]
Camping site will be equipped with two (02) basic cost effective tree houses built on wooden pillars
PROPOSED TENTS & TREE HOUSES FOR CAMPING SITE
Canvas tents and tree houses have been identified by most of the environmental lovers as an eco friendly approach to built near safari park without disturbing the surrounding trees & shrubs.This concept will be a unique to southern province as it has been not been introduced by any one in this district.these canvas tents will be manufactured locally.
NEW EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES FOR SURROUNDING VILLAGES:
As result of this tent camping site,it will generate at least 15 direct & indirect employment opportunities.
