How fresh fruits line every village…and how easily we take it for granted
Bananas still warm from the sun.
Pineapples stacked with quiet pride.
Wooden tables, no branding — just abundance.
In villages across Sri Lanka, nourishment doesn’t arrive shrink-wrapped. It hangs, ripens, waits patiently.
This isn’t luxury. This is everyday life.
Just land, farmers, and rhythm. Hands that harvest.
Soil that remembers.
Perhaps this is the greatest wealth we forget to notice. May we protect what feeds us so quietly.
