"We spent two weeks in Sri Lanka in July 2024 with my partner, and I cannot speak highly enough of the private driver we booked through the agency 'JD Ceylon Travels and Tours'. Our driver, Dhushy, played a crucial role in making our trip an unforgettable experience.

From the very beginning, we were impressed by the level of professionalism and attention to detail exhibited by Dhushy. We provided him with our travel itinerary, including specific destinations, timings, and even mileage requirements. This clear communication helped set the right expectations and ensured a smooth journey with no surprises.

One aspect that stood out to us was the transparency in payment – it is always a bit tricky when asked to make upfront payments to a foreign country. On the first day, we were required to make a prepayment of 50%, and the final settlement was made at the end of our trip. This transparent approach gave us peace of mind and further reinforced the trust we had in Dhushy and the agency.

Throughout our time with Dhushy, he consistently demonstrated his professionalism and reliability. He was always punctual, ensuring that we never wasted a moment of our precious time in Sri Lanka. His friendly and discreet nature made us feel comfortable and at ease throughout the journey.

" My family and I have been lucky enough to travel quite extensively and we feel that our trip in Sri Lanka was the best we have ever had in our life.

The whole experience from the first mail of planning stage to farewells was faultless. Our driver Dhushy was fantastic and went way beyond all expectations , he is patient , charming , so friendly and a very good driver, His extensive knowledge of the country helped explain to us everything he possibly could. He took us to eat at some very nice non tourist restaurants and we enjoyed his company
He was helpful pointing out things and taking us to places that might interest us, and understanding about our preferences.
Always bearing a nice smile all the time .
Our little girl was crying when she knew it was time for us to leave Dhushy and go back home😃

Recent 7 days tour review of Dhushy from German Couple Sidney & Kathi

" Wir reisten im Februar 2024 sieben Tage lang durch die bekannten Orte von Sri Lanka. Dabei planten wir die einzelnen Stopps grundsätzlich selbst und buchten auch die Hotels im Voraus selbst. Nachdem wir viele Angebote durchgesehen hatten, entschieden wir uns für JD Ceylon. Zum einen klang der Preis gerechtfertigt und zum anderen wirkte der Fahrer auf den Bildern sympathisch und nett. Diese Eindrücke bestätigten sich während unserer gesamten Reise. Wir haben bereits über 30 Länder bereist und hatten oft Fahrer, aber Dhushyandhan, auch genannt Dhushy, war definitiv der Beste! Von Anfang an war er sehr zuvorkommend und respektvoll in jeglicher Hinsicht. Er half uns bei der täglichen Planung, organisierte Guides und sogar eine Safari durch den Yala-Nationalpark (wobei wir feststellen mussten, dass wir nicht einmal einen zusätzlichen Guide benötigten und sogar die ersten Besucher des Tages im Park waren). Zudem verfügt Dhushy über ein enormes Fachwissen und man kann sich hervorragend mit ihm unterhalten, sei es über das Land, die Natur (insbesondere die verschiedenen Vogelarten Sri Lankas) oder über die Menschen und ihre Gepflogenheiten. Zusätzlich war das Auto, obwohl es nicht sein eigenes war, da er es für eine andere Reise benötigte, jeden einzelnen Morgen frisch gereinigt und roch gut. Sein Fahrstil war im Vergleich zu den hektischen und teilweise gefährlichen Fahrstilen anderer Fahrer stets ruhig, entspannt und sicher. Wenn du/ihr/sie die Möglichkeit/das Glück hast/habt/haben, mit Dhushy zu fahren, können wir es nur wärmstens empfehlen! "
