At Uda walawe National park

I just wanted to let you know that our trip was absolutely amazing! Thank you so much for planning such an excellent itinerary and setting us up with everything we needed. My original impetus for going was to see elephants in the wild, but there was so much more that we loved about the trip.
First of all, the people were so lovely. Friendly, easy-going, such pride in the marvels of their homeland.
Mohan was a treasure! He was so knowledgeable and took such good care of us. We have never done a trip where we had a driver and were a little nervous beforehand, but everything worked out really well.
The religious and cultural sights were fascinating and beautiful. We had never been to a Buddhist country before and it was amazing to see it as a lived practice.
The geographical diversity was stunning.
And of course, the wildlife had us transfixed.
The one unfortunate episode in staying in a lousy hotel in Marissa was completely our fault. No, actually it was Trip Advisors fault for giving a completely wrong evaluation. It was only one night, we had a good beach morning and then Mohan took us to the Cinnamon Red where we relaxed before heading home.
We were amazed at how few Americans we saw. We are telling our friends about this amazing experience and hopefully, we can send you some business!

Mr/S Daniela C. Werdin from Germany celebrated their wedding anniversary with Mohan at Sigiriya yesterday. They are on a safari tour and have already seen leopards and sloth bears at Wilpattu National Park and over hundred elephants in their annual migration at Kaudulla National Park. They will be visiting Uda Walawe, Yala Block 5 and Bundala National Parks in the coming days. Weather havoc hasn’t been an issue in the dry zone yet!

5 lovely ladies from Sydney arrived on a 10-day tour of Sri Lanka on the 10th of August. Here they are engaged in a river cruise and are seen sipping cinnamon tea in one of the uninhabited cinnamon islands. They also enjoyed watching the annual 'Kandy Perahara' in Kandy.

Hi Sasanka
Just to let you know we arrived home safely a couple of hours ago. Thank you so much for sending Mohan to take us to the airport - he is a very good driver and very friendly and courteous. We felt like old friends after just 4 days.

Thank you again also for organising our time so well prior to us going to Hambantota. When we visit again - probably next year - travelling to the north and north-east parts of your beautiful country, we will contact you again.

We are so sad for what Sri Lanka is going through now - tourism was going ahead so well for you. Things WILL get better but it might take a little time for potential tourists to get their confidence back. We will do our best here to encourage that.
