In Sri Lanka, the coconut is more than just an ingredient. It’s a part of daily life, culture, and heritage. From curries to sweets, no meal is complete without the flavor of freshly scraped coconut.

Our guests had the chance to experience this age old tradition firsthand at a village house. Sitting down at the traditional coconut scraper and working the fresh coconut was a fun, hands-on moment they absolutely loved!
