Vesak 2026 - Pandals, Lights & Lanterns to celebrate the life of Buddha, his birth, death & enlightenment. Each lantern this year was made of natural materials by individuals or organisations, such as the army, navy etc. They are also all competition entries & have amazing handcrafted details to them.

Often considered shoulder month due to part of the island having monsoon season Vesak is a great time to visit to see this spectacular event in person πŸ™πŸ½βœ¨
