9 වන විධායක ජනාධිපතිවරයා ලෙස සිය මංගල කතාවේ දී, රට වෙනස් වීමට කාලයක් ගත වන බව නැවත අවධාරණය කළද ජනවරම ලැයිස්තුගත කර ඇති කැපවීම් ඉටු කරන බවට ඔහු පොරොන්දු විය.

Mr. Dissanayake was sworn in as President on 23 September 2024 at the Presidential Secretariat. In his inaugural address as the 9th Executive President, he reiterated that it would take time for the country to change, but promised to fulfill the commitments listed in the mandate. Born on 24 November 1968, he is celebrating his fifty-seventh birthday.

The Tudor-style two-storey red-brick building[2] with a clock spire, was constructed in 1894 by the British.[3]
In 2012, the postmaster's former living quarters, on the post office's upper floor, were converted into tourist accommodation.[4]
On 26 December 1990 Sri Lanka Post issued a Rs. 10 stamp with a photograph of the Post Office, to commemorate World Postal Day.[5][6]

Day 1 – Arrival & Transfer to Sigiriya (Cultural Triangle Begins)
Warm welcome at BIA by your personal guide/driver.

Transfer to Sigiriya – unwind after your long flight.

Optional village walk or sunset viewpoint in the evening.

Day 2 – Explore Sigiriya & Dambulla
Climb the world-famous Sigiriya Rock Fortress (UNESCO Site).
