We recently had a breathtaking encounter with wild elephants in Udawalawe National Park, Sri Lanka. Witnessing them roam freely across the endless plains was absolutely awe-inspiring. Every moment was etched into my heart, from their slow, majestic strides to the heartwarming sight of a parent and calf cuddling, and their playful splashes during a refreshing bath.

Through my lens, their eyes reflected both the power of the wild and a surprising gentleness. I’m filled with gratitude to know such magnificent creatures exist on our planet. A safari in Udawalawe wasn’t just a trip; it was a soul-stirring journey that connected me deeply with nature.
