☸️🪷යුරෝපයේ ලොකුම බෞද්ධ දාගැබට වසර 3ක් 🙏🇬🇧🇱🇰
එක්සත් රාජධානියේ බර්මින්හැම් නගරයේ ශ්‍රී ලාංකික බෞද්ධ ප්‍රජාවට සුවිශේෂී ආගමික මධ්‍යස්ථානයක් වන Birmingham Buddhist Maha Vihara හි චෛත්‍ය රාජයාණන් වහන්සේගේ තෙවන සංවත්සරය සැප්තැම්බර් 13 වැනි ඉරිදා මහත් ශ්‍රද්ධාවෙන් සැමරුණා.
මෙම පුණ්‍යෝත්සවයට සමගාමීව පූජ්‍ය ආචාර්ය විතාරන්දෙණියේ කස්සප නායක ස්වාමීන් වහන්සේගේ ජන්ම දින ආශිර්වාද
පුණ්‍යෝත්සවයද පැවැත්වීම විශේෂත්වයක් වුණා.

🌸 පෙරවරු 10.30ට බුද්ධ පූජාව සහ අටවිසි බුද්ධ පූජාවෙන් ආගමික වැඩසටහන් ආරම්භ වූ අතර, අනතුරුව මහා සංඝරත්නය උදෙසා දානමය පුණ්‍යකර්මය සිදු කෙරුණා. දහවල් සියලුම සහභාගී වූ පිරිස සඳහා දිවා ආහාරයද සංවිධානය කර තිබුණා.
🙏 පස්වරු 1.15 සිට 3.30 දක්වා චෛත්‍ය රාජයාණන් වහන්සේගේ තෙවන සංවත්සර නිල ආගමික උත්සවය සහ ජන්ම දින ආශිර්වාද පුණ්‍යෝත්සවය පැවැත්වුණා.
බ්‍රිතාන්‍යයේ වෙසෙන ශ්‍රී ලාංකික බෞද්ධ ජනතාවට තම ආගමික හා සංස්කෘතික උරුමයන් සමඟ බැඳී සිටීමට බර්මින්හැම් බෞද්ධ මහා විහාරය ඉටුකරන්නේ වැදගත් මෙහෙවරක්. විශේෂයෙන්ම නව පරපුරට බෞද්ධ ආගමික වටිනාකම් හඳුන්වා දීමට මෙවැනි ආගමික මධ්‍යස්ථාන සහ උත්සව සුවිශේෂී අවස්ථාවක් සලසා දෙනවා.
චෛත්‍ය රාජයාණන් වහන්සේගේ තෙවන සංවත්සරය නිමිත්තෙන් සිදුකළ සියලු පුණ්‍යකර්ම සැමට නිදුක් නිරෝගී සුවය හා සෙත ශාන්තිය උදාකර දීමට හේතු වේවා! 🙏

The third anniversary of the magnificent stupa at Birmingham Buddhist Maha Vihara, a significant religious centre for the Sri Lankan Buddhist community in Birmingham, United Kingdom, was celebrated with great devotion on Sunday, 13 September.
A special feature of the occasion was the birthday blessing ceremony for Venerable Dr. Witharandeniye Kassapa Nayaka Thero, which was held alongside the anniversary celebrations.

🌸 The religious programme began at 10.30 a.m. with the Buddha Puja and Atavisi Buddha Puja, followed by the offering of alms to the Maha Sangha. Lunch was also provided for everyone attending the event.
🙏 From 1.15 p.m. to 3.30 p.m., the official religious ceremony marking the third anniversary of the stupa was held together with the birthday blessing ceremony.
Birmingham Buddhist Maha Vihara plays an important role in helping Sri Lankan Buddhists living in Britain remain connected with their religious and cultural heritage. In particular, religious centres and events such as this provide valuable opportunities to introduce Buddhist teachings, traditions and values to younger generations growing up in the UK.
