Some moments in the rainforest stay with you forever.
While guiding my guests through the ancient forests of Sinharaja, we were rewarded with an unforgettable encounter—a pair of Sri Lanka Frogmouths quietly resting together. Finding even one is special, but seeing a pair is pure magic.
These are the moments that make wildlife photography so rewarding: patience, respect for nature, and a little bit of luck. Seeing the smiles on my guests' faces was every bit as memorable as the sighting itself.

There are leopards... and then there is Ritta.
One of Kumana National Park's most dominant male leopards, Ritta is known for his confidence and calm presence. Unlike many elusive big cats, he often walks the tracks with complete authority, reminding everyone why he sits at the top of Sri Lanka's wild hierarchy.
