Raised right, through faith and guidance, life taught me that it pays to be honest and that was established in one single experience that will serve as a lesson, for life ! A young Indian couple on their honeymoon happened to travel with me introduced through a reputed travel agent from

their home county. Following a leisurely walk around the town of Kandy the couple abruptly decided to scrap all other plans and return to their hotel. As their chauffeur & guide I was baffled but did not pry respecting their privacy. Later on decided having time on my hands, I decided to clean the vehicle and on to dusting around the floor and where the carpets lay, I found a ring which looked like an engagement ring (comprising 21diamonds) staring at me out of the floor board. I returned immediately to the reception and called the room requesting the couple to come by and collect the item and what I saw through their eyes that were filled with tears was only the tears of joy and relief. On asking me how I could be rewarded my answer was simple, which was a request for a name for the company I had just launched and that is how Namaste Lanka came to being
