We’re Hiring: Field Machinery Technician

Urban SiteFleet is a 3 month old construction sister company to Urban Taxis and Tours renting equipment and machinery to other construction companies in Lesotho.

Are you an experienced technician looking for a hands-on role in the construction industry? Join our Technical Support Team and work on machinery breakdowns in different districts of Lesotho.

We are looking for skilled professional with at least 3 years of hands-on experience working closely with the following machinery:

✅ Tamping Rammer
✅ Plate Compactors
✅ Concrete Mixer
✅ Vibrating Poker
✅ Concrete Cutter
✅ Generators
✅ Chainsaws and many more.

Key Responsibilities:

🔧 Diagnose and repair breakdowns on-site for the listed machinery
🔧 Perform routine maintenance and servicing to prevent unexpected failures
🔧 Inspect and test machinery to ensure safe and efficient operation
🔧 Replace faulty parts and recommend necessary repairs
🔧 Calibrate and adjust equipment to meet performance standards
🔧 Maintain service records and report major issues
🔧 Train operators on basic troubleshooting and proper machinery handling
🔧 Ensure compliance with safety standards and proper use of tools

Requirements:

✔️ Minimum 3 years of experience working with the listed machinery
✔️ Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
✔️ Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
✔️ Willingness to travel to different districts for fieldwork
✔️ Good communication and teamwork skills
✔️ Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations

Driving Licence will be an added Advantage
