GhostRider_47: Thinking about grabbing the TAG ML36 launcher 👀

BangBangBilly: Let’s goooo — you going CO₂ or HPA?
GhostRider_47: That’s what I’m trying to figure out. Pros/cons?

BangBangBilly:
CO₂ Version:
– Runs on classic 12g cartridges (easy to find)
– About 8–10 shots per fill
– Lighter setup (12g cartridge is obviously lighter than a whole tank)
– Great for quick deployment, clean loadouts
– Super budget-friendly: $850–879
– Performs best in moderate temps

GhostRider_47: So like… low-maintenance, mission-ready if I’m not freezing?

BangBangBilly: 100%. If your games are spring/fall or indoors, CO₂ is plug-and-play. Less gear, more action.

BangBangBilly:
HPA Version:
– Has its own 13ci tank (950 psi)
– Shoots ~40 rounds per fill
– Doesn’t care if it’s –20°C or Sahara hot
– Built like a beast: CNC aluminum, Pic rails
– Sits at around $1,800+
– Ideal for heavy launcher mains or multi-shot days

GhostRider_47: So it’s like the “pro kit” for players who go all in?

BangBangBilly: Pretty much. If you’re lobbing 10+ rounds per match or dealing with wild weather, it’s built for that. Long-term it saves you on gas too.

GhostRider_47: So CO₂ = lean, light, fast. HPA = heavy-duty, long-haul.

BangBangBilly: Yessir. Both slap — just depends on how YOU play.

GhostRider_47: I kinda like the idea of keeping it simple. Might roll CO₂ for now.

BangBangBilly: Tactical choice. Start with CO₂, upgrade later if you go launcher main.

BangBangBilly: Either way, it’s a TAGinn — you’re gonna make some

💡FIST2 Adapter – How to Prevent O-Ring Damage

We’ve received a lot of feedback from users about the central O-ring on the FIST2 adapter getting blown out or damaged. And yes, we know exactly why this happens – and how to avoid it.

👉 Here’s what’s going on:

CO₂ is a tough gas. When FIST2 is under CO₂ pressure for 30–40 minutes, the gas fills the micro-pores of the O-rings. This causes them to slightly expand and lose their original shape temporarily.

🔧 The critical moment:
If you remove the used 12g CO₂ cartridge and immediately install a new one and pressurize again — before the O-rings have returned to their original shape — the central O-ring can pop out, get deformed, or even rip.

👉 What to do:
1. After 30–40 minutes under pressure, degas the system and remove the used CO₂ cartridge.
2. WAIT 5–10 minutes. Let the O-rings “cool down” and return to their original form.
3. Only then insert the new cartridge and repressurize.

This small pause can save you a lot of frustration and O-rings.

🛠️ We’re always working on improving our systems, but until then — follow this tip and your FIST2 will stay reliable much longer.

The Story of R2B Gr***des

Alright, airsoft warriors and paintball commandos, gather 'round for a tale of explosions and innovation: the R2B gr***de series. Let’s throw it back (pun intended) to when paintballs rained and safety was still… a work in progress.

2010 – R2B with a yellow body: The first gr***de(stick)
This was the first paintball gr***de of its kind — fully made out of polyurithane, a pull ring, 3–4 seconds of suspense… then boom.
Fun fact: even the lever was made of polyurethane.
It replaced those sloppy liquid paint gr***des — no more paint getting in the ignition or turning into invisible mist. Instead, it used 0.50 cal paintballs that actually marked your enemies. Revolutionary stuff, back then.

2013 – R2B (Russia Only Edition)
New year, new safety!
They finally added an active safety lever mechanism — because surprises are great in birthday parties, not in your tac vest.

2014 – The EVO-lution Begins
Meet the gang:
🟡 R2B Yellow – Paintball
🔴 R2BS Red – BBs
🔵 R2BM Blue – Pink powder (yeah, it got fabulous)
TAGinn diversified like a Netflix lineup — there was a gr***de for every kind of chaos.

2016–2017 – Safety First, Then Gr***des
Major glow-up in the ignition system. Less misfires (about 98% less), no unwanted detonations in your cargo pants, and the birth of what became TAGinn’s most reliable and safe gr***de platform.

2019 – The Final moments
Sadly, the R2B series was discontinued. Why?
-Complex production
- Expensive
- Everyone wanted more realistic gr***des
- TAGinn had a shiny new generation of pyro-toys to launch

But let’s be real — without R2B, TAGinn wouldn’t have learned half of what makes their modern products tick (or not tick prematurely).

R.I.P. R2B – Gone but Never Forgotten
You paved the way for safer and smarter gr***des.
Raise your mags, folks — to the legend that started it all.

[FIELD DIARY – ENTRY #91]
The MGL Was the Dream — Until It Wasn’t

Today, I finally got my hands on an MGL. Not during a battle. Not in a simulation. Just me, some free time, and an airsoft version of the launcher I’ve admired for years.

Six chambers. A magnificent rotating mechanism. That raw sense of dominance.
It’s been on my wishlist longer than I’d care to admit.

Everything about it screamed power. The U.S. Navy SEALs once used it against Somali pirates — flashbangs and tear gas lobbed into hijacked ships. Not lethal, just terrifying. Controlled chaos.

That story alone convinced me this thing was special.

[FIELD DIARY – ENTRY #92]
The Letdown

While holding the MGL, I remembered a story I once heard:

When the MGL first hit the market, it was new, exciting, untested. A guy gave it a spin, and after 20 minutes of fun, the cheap plastic jammed a round between the chamber and the barrel due to misalignment. The round ignited — but didn’t leave the chamber. The guy saw smoke coming from the drum and threw the launcher to the ground. The round went off, scattering the shredded remains of the launcher all over the place.

That single incident was enough. TAGinn never touched the MGL style again.

Instead, they built what works:

TAG-ML36 — Simple. Battle-proven.

It fires one round at a time — but trained right, you can launch six in under 20 seconds.

And most importantly: every round actually fires.

No jams. No misalignments. No surprises.
Just launch, reload, repeat.

Final Thought

I still love the MGL.

But I’ve let the dream go.

When it counts, I don’t want flashy. I want reliable.
I want something that works — every single time.

TAGinn made that choice too.
For the same reason.

FIELD BRIEFING: WHY YOU CARRY SMOKE

Subject: Operational Use of Smoke Gr***des
Issued By: TAGinn squad leader
Classification: Essential Tactical Knowledge

Mission Statement:
Smoke isn’t backup. It’s not a show. It’s a primary asset for maneuver warfare—whether you’re pushing a squad through a kill zone or pulling a fireteam out of a bad corner.

If you don’t know when and how to throw smoke, you’re not acting—you’re waiting to lose.

Historical Proof of Concept: The Battle of Hill 937, Vietnam (1969)

Known to history as “Hamburger Hill.”
U.S. forces needed to assault a heavily fortified ridge under constant machine-gun and mortar fire. Direct approaches were meat grinders.

The breakthrough?
Coordinated smoke deployment.
• Mortars and hand-thrown gr***des dumped heavy smoke curtains across key sightlines.
• Enemy snipers lost their high ground advantage.
• Troops advanced unseen, cutting down exposure time and smashing defensive positions.

Without smoke, Hamburger Hill would have cost even more lives—and taken even longer.
Smoke didn’t just help the assault. It made it possible.

Tactical Doctrine: When to Deploy Smoke
• Cover Movement: Move unseen between broken cover.
• Break Visual Locks: Deny enemy overwatch teams their shots.
• Evac Under Fire: Extract casualties or retrieve gear when pinned.
• Force Hesitation: Cause enemy squads to second-guess and delay.

Smoke is not a guarantee. It’s a window. You create the gap—you take the initiative.

Recommended Equipment: TAG-18 Smoke Gr***de
• Burn Time: ~45 seconds
• Coverage: Dense, wide spread
• Deployment Speed: Immediate effectiveness after ignition
• Operational Purpose: Assault concealment, extraction aid, disruption of enemy lines

The TAG-18 is NOT slow-burn, cinematic fluff.
It’s made for field conditions where every second counts.

Rare Operational Fact:
During the Falklands War, British commandos used white smoke not just to blind Argentine forces—but to fake retreat directions. By throwing smoke behind decoy squads, they forced enemy fire onto empty fields, while real units moved silently along flanks.

Final Orders:
• Don’t throw smoke for fun. Throw it with intent.
• Move the instant the cloud forms.
• If you wait to admire it, you’ve already wasted it.
• Control their vision—control the field.

The operator who knows how to fight blind wins when others freeze.
Train with smoke. Fight with smoke. Win because of smoke.

Flashbangs: Tactical and Controlled Chaos (And Why We Love Them)

Back in the 1960s — when everyone else was busy inventing lava lamps and questionable fashion choices — the British SAS decided to make something a little more... blinding. Thus, the flashbang was born. Not to destroy walls, but to absolutely destroy someone’s senses — without the need for a renovation crew.

Think of it as a gr***de that yells “Surprise!” louder than your ex at a party.

It wasn’t made to cause injuries — just maximum confusion. A blinding flash, a thunderous bang, and suddenly the enemy is stumbling around like they’ve just woken up from a two-day bender. Beautiful stuff.

Smash cut to today’s airsoft and milsim games: the flashbang is still a battlefield legend. Not because it blows things up — but because it blows up plans. Toss one, and the enemy team’s perfect formation melts into a chaotic pile of "what-do-we-do-now?!"

Problem is, a lot of “airsoft flashbangs” are basically just loud soda cans. Enter: the TAGinn FBG-4. This beast hits different. No batteries, no gas, no complicated nonsense — just a reliable pop that clears rooms and scrambles brains (figuratively, of course). Classic TAGinn precision.

Author’s opinion: Imagine this: you and your squad are about to breach a room packed with defenders. It’s tight, it’s tense, and the enemy's got every doorway covered. You know that if you just charge in, you're gonna be sent back to respawn faster than you can say "bad idea." That’s exactly when the TAGinn FBG-4 becomes your best friend. One toss through the door — flash, bang — and suddenly those defenders are shielding their faces, spinning around, completely disoriented. You move in clean, take control, and flip the fight.
No FBG-4? You’re just rolling dice with your life. With it? You’re writing the rules. Every serious player needs one ready to go — because chaos isn’t a luxury; sometimes it’s your only way out.

Bottom line: flashbangs aren’t about showing off — they’re about shattering enemy focus when it matters most. And with the right one? You don’t just survive the game. You own it.

Boom, You’re Out: A Brief (and Explosive) History of Mines

Let’s be real: most of us get into airsoft for the gear, the tactics, and the sweet, sweet pew-pew. But there’s one battlefield element that’s less talked about—probably because it’s meant to be hidden. Yep, we’re talking about mines.

From “Oops” to Ordnance

Mines have been around forever. Ancient Chinese used early gunpowder devices as traps way back in the 13th century. Fast-forward to World War I, and things escalated quickly. Engineers dug tunnels and planted massive underground charges—the kind that could wipe out trenches and leave craters the size of small villages.

By WWII, anti-personnel and anti-tank mines were standard-issue chaos-makers. The infamous German “Bouncing Betty” (which literally jumped before exploding) was designed not just to kill—but to traumatize. Mines weren’t just weapons; they were psychological warfare.

And unlike bullets, they don’t go away when the war ends. As of 2025, there are still over 60 countries contaminated with landmines. That’s not just history—that’s still in somebody’s backyard.

So… thats why we at TAGinn (a kaboom maker company) decided to let go of the idea of making airsoft friendly mines.

A few reasons why:

• You forget where you put them.
Heat of the game, you bury a pressure trigger mine—and boom, game ends, and your memory wipes itself clean. The mine doesn’t.
• Some don’t go off.
You put 10 mines on the field, but how exactly are you supposed to know which one exploded and which one you can retrieve?
• Danger for future players.
Someone new hits the field, steps on your “forgotten” mine, and what should’ve been a fun game turns into a “hit” situation.
• No fair play.
The next team has no idea what’s buried out there. Suddenly they’re punished for your leftover gear.
And the winning team thinks to themselves, “That’s not how we wanted to win.”

Author’s Opinion:
Mines are the ultimate unexpected weapon in real warfare—but in airsoft, things are a bit different. Here, fair play matters just as much as tactics. Leaving hidden traps on the field after a game doesn’t just break immersion—it puts future teams at an unnecessary and unfair disadvantage.

There are smarter, safer ways to outplay your opponents. Take b***y traps, for example. A tripwire tied to a gr***de might feel more “controlled” than a buried mine—but it still demands serious care. They can be forgotten, misfire between games, or hit players who weren’t even part of the original setup.

In short: realism is cool, but responsibility is cooler.

𝐓𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬: 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐔𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐧𝐠 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐨 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐢𝐞𝐥𝐝

Most people think, “Eh, it’s just to carry my gun, right?” Spoiler: it’s so much more than that.
It all started with the basics: rugged leather straps that did one job — stop your rifle from eating dirt. But as combat got messier and faster, slings had to evolve. Enter the two-point sling: simple, steady, and absolutely reliable. Then came the three-point sling, giving operators more control and faster transitions when moving through tight corners or going full send across the field.

Fast forward to now, and slings are precision tools. Modern designs have come a long way, with setups that adjust on the fly — fixed for stability, loose for fast movement, or even full three-point configurations for maximum control. Basically, you get versatility without the clutter.

One of my personal favorites is the TAGinn PRO sling. It’s low-profile but does everything you need — I’ve run it in all kinds of scenarios, and it just works. Whether I need a tight setup for CQB or a looser carry for long treks, it adjusts effortlessly. Honestly, it’s become one of those pieces of kit I trust without thinking about it.

Now, here’s the myth-buster moment:
Way too many players still treat the sling like some sad, forgotten accessory. Big mistake. A good sling isn’t just holding your gun — it’s controlling it. It keeps your weapon tight to your chest, ready to swing into action at a moment’s notice. Swapping to your sidearm? Sling’s got you covered. Throwing a gr***de while dodging BBs? The sling keeps your rifle exactly where it needs to be. Without it, you’re either juggling gear like a street performer or wasting time fumbling through a reload — and in MilSim, time is everything.

𝐀𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐧:

I never step onto the field without a solid sling setup. After running the TAGinn PRO sling in a few serious games, it’s hard to imagine going back. It’s one of those underrated tools that quietly does the heavy lifting when it counts.
Here’s when my sling really proves its worth:
• Fast Sidearm Switch:
When your primary’s out of action, the sling keeps it pinned tight so you can draw and stay in the fight.
• Gr***de on the Move:
Sprinting and tossing a gr***de? The sling keeps your rifle snug, so you hit that perfect throw without breaking pace.
• Climbing or Team Support:
Whether you’re scaling an obstacle or helping a teammate, your sling frees your hands to get the job done.

Don’t underestimate your sling. It’s not just a strap — it’s your silent MVP.
