600 photos and videos...there is no way to see Alaska than with your own eyes. This trip was amazing! I HIGHLY recommend!

Whale watching, seeing Denali on a clear day, snow-capped mountains, moose, fresh out of the water crab legs, river otters and so many bald eagles are only of the few things we experienced.

I canā€™t believe itā€™s all over. Our hearts are so full!

We have 12 hours left in Fairbanks before we start our trip homeā€¦donā€™t fly out until 10pm tonight and should be home šŸ¤žaround 3pm on Wednesday. This is the part I was absolutely not looking forward to.

The final leg of our Alaska cruise tourā€¦Wilderness Express to Fairbanks!!

This is Ellaā€™s first time on a train so she is excited! This train car is a double deckerā€¦glass dome on top and dining on the bottom. We will get to Fairbanks in four hours.

Only about 30% of visitors to Denali get to see the peak clearly. We will be visiting Denali National Park tomorrow but our tour director made a stop at the south viewingā€¦and we are part of the 30%!!!

Say hello to Denali (the former Mt. McKinleyā€¦we can discuss all the history on the name later)ā€¦the highest mountain in North America standing at 20,310 feet. What a view!

Hopefully we will have a clear look at the peak tomorrow!

We are off the shipā€¦ BUT we are not heading home yet!

One of the options you have for Alaskan cruises is to add the land tour for an extra 2 to 6 nights. We are staying 4 more nights! Our motor coach is transporting us to Denali for 2 nights and then we will take the Wilderness Express glass dome train to Fairbanks for the last 2 nights before flying home.
