5 Days / 4 Nights in the Largest Desert of Morocco – Foum Zguid & Erg Chegaga
Day 1: Marrakech or Agadir – Erg Mhassel
Departure in the morning from your hotel in Marrakech or Agadir.
From Marrakech, we cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka pass; from Agadir, we drive through the plains of the Anti-Atlas.
Arrival in Foum Zguid for lunch, then departure by 4x4 into the desert.
Along the way, we visit the beautiful Al Jermiya Oasis and Mount Tajine, before entering Iriqui National Park, famous for its vast rocky plains and plateau mountains.
Upon arrival at Erg Mhassel, we set up a wild desert camp. Enjoy a welcome drink, admire the stunning sunset over the sand dunes, followed by dinner around the campfire.
Overnight under a magical sky full of stars.

Day 2: Erg Mhassel – Erg Haj Ahmed
After breakfast, begin a camel trekking journey toward Erg Haj Ahmed.
Cross the sea of sand while enjoying breathtaking desert landscapes and walking at a peaceful rhythm.
In the early afternoon, we set up the camp for the night.
Free time to relax, walk in the desert, and enjoy the deep silence of the Sahara.
Quiet night under the stars.

Day 3: Erg Haj Ahmed – Erg Lghoul
After breaking camp, we start a 4-hour walking trek toward Erg Lghoul.
During the walk, we observe desert flora and fauna and learn about life in this extreme environment.
Upon arrival, installation of the camp.
In the evening, we gather around the campfire, share stories, discover nomadic culture, and enjoy traditional music.
Peaceful night in the heart of the desert.

Day 4: Erg Lghoul – Jrissem Oasis
Walking journey toward Jrissem Oasis, a true haven of freshness and tranquility in the middle of the desert, offering unique natural scenery.
Discover the importance of oases and the traditions of nomadic life, including sand bread baking and the tea ceremony.
Visit a nomadic family and the school of nomad children.
Overnight in tents or under the open sky.

Day 5: Jrissem Oasis – Marrakech or Agadir
In the morning, departure by 4x4 toward Foum Zguid, crossing the dry Lake Iriqui.
Stop in Taznakht for lunch.
Return to Marrakech or Agadir in the late afternoon.
