It was an absolute pleasure to host a memorable two-day hike with our wonderful guests. The journey through nature was filled with stunning landscapes, and their enthusiasm made it even more special. We shared great conversations, laughter, and a true sense of adventure. I’m grateful for their company and the beautiful moments we experienced together on this unforgettable hike.

Weekly market restaurant! On any day of the week, a market will take place somewhere The souk often takes place in one of the larger towns or in a village, which acts as a hub for the surrounding rural area and local farms. The weekly market is so ingrained in local culture that many towns include the day of their souk in their name, Likewise, “Elkhamiss” means the market is on a Thursday..
Rural markets provide several essential services for local people. As well as being an opportunity to buy and sell essential items, the souk is a weekly meeting point. Unlike in other cultures, it is mainly men who attend the souk, picking the shopping according to the strict instructions of their wives and mothers. While they are at the market, they take the opportunity to pause for a cup of tea and catch up on local gossip with their friends and the itinerant traders..

Een bijzondere driedaagse bergtocht gemaakt met tourguide Hassan en lieve muilezel-eigenaren, koks én muzikanten Mohammed en Houssein🥰 Het prachtige Atlas gebergte doorkruist, op 2500 meter hoogte gekampeerd en drie dagen lang niets anders tegengekomen dan geitjes, schapen en hun herders 🤗 thanks voor deze top tijd !

🌄 Vallée de l'Ourika - +400m - 5 heures de marche
Durant 5 heures, nos invités ont randonné au coeur de la vallée de l'Ourika découvrant des paysages naturels exceptionnels loin de toute civilisation.
Notre guide , les a mené à travers les différents sentiers dont seul lui a le secret, en leur partageant ses connaissances de la biodiversité habitant la vallée et les montagnes.
En résumé, une randonnée authentique, seul au monde, en pleine nature, à la découverte des terres ancestrales des peuples amazigh. 🌠

For 5 hours, our guests hiked in the heart of the Ourika valley, discovering exceptional natural landscapes far from civilization.
Our guide, led them along the various trails that only he knows the secret of, sharing his knowledge of the biodiversity inhabiting the valley and mountains.
In short, an authentic hike, alone in the world, in the heart of nature, discovering the ancestral lands of the Amazigh people. 🌠

The daily life and business is coming back in the High Atlas mountains! It was a gladness to see a group of tourists are coming to support and stay overnight in our authentic Berber guesthouse in the village of Amlougui.
