Chouara Tannery: The largest leather tannery in Fez and the oldest leather tannery in the world.

Fun fact: I was told that this tannery has been functioning the same way it did back in the early centuries 😳. The complete process of preparing leather is done manually!
The smell is pretty pungent, so they often offer mint leaves to foreigners.

Story time: A couple years ago I saw this beautiful picture with a gorgeous blue background on someone’s insta page. I looked it up and saw that the whole town was painted blue 🤯. The town is named chefchaouen and is situated in the heart Morocco. For some reason it seemed far and out of my reach. Nevertheless, I put it on my bucket list and this year I was able to check it off my list 🙌🏾🔥🙌🏾
Today was a great day 🤗
