There's more than just one extra night separating our 3-day and 4-day desert tours.

On the 3-day version, you head straight back to Marrakech from the desert on one long, 7-8 hour drive – with beautiful scenic stops along the way, but no room for Todra Gorge or the Dades Valley.

The 4-day tour adds exactly those two: on the afternoon of day three you stop at Todra Gorge, and on the morning of day four you explore the Dades Valley and see the famous "monkey fingers" rock formation, before heading back to Marrakech. So it's not a rest day – it's two extra destinations you simply can't fit into the shorter tour.
