Day 1 – Fes ➝ Merzouga (or Marrakech ➝ Merzouga)
Option 1: Departure from Fes
Pick-up from your hotel or riad in Fes.
Drive through the beautiful town of Ifrane, known as the "Little Switzerland of Morocco."
Continue through the Cedar Forest of Azrou, home to the famous Barbary macaques.
Pass through Midelt, surrounded by the Middle Atlas Mountains.
Travel along the spectacular Ziz Valley, with panoramic views over its palm groves.
Continue through Erfoud, well known for its fossil workshops and date production.
Arrival in Merzouga.
Option 2: Departure from Marrakech
Pick-up from your hotel or riad in Marrakech.
Cross the breathtaking High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n'Tichka Pass.
Visit the famous Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah.
Continue through Ouarzazate.
Pass the impressive Skoura Oasis.
Drive through the beautiful Valley of Roses.
Continue along the Dades Valley.
Pass through Tinghir and the Todra Gorge.
Continue via Erfoud before arriving in Merzouga.
🏨 Overnight in a 4-star hotel next to the dunes.
Day 2 – Into the Sahara Desert
Breakfast at the hotel.
Drive to the desert.
Camel ride across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi.
Arrival at the luxury desert camp.
