โœจ Cross-Re-Tour Final Project Meeting in Nova Gorica

๐Ÿ’ก The meeting brought ๐ฉ๐ซ๐จ๐ฃ๐ž๐œ๐ญ ๐ฉ๐š๐ซ๐ญ๐ง๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ together to review the progress and results achieved throughout the project, exchange experiences, and discuss the final steps of ๐‚๐ซ๐จ๐ฌ๐ฌ๐‘๐ž๐“๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ, as well as opportunities for future cooperation in sustainable, accessible, and digitally supported tourism.

๐Ÿ’ซ As part of the ๐ˆ๐๐‚ ๐ฉ๐ซ๐จ๐ฃ๐ž๐œ๐ญ, we developed a series of interactive postcards that connect cultural heritage, local stories, and digital innovation.

To give these stories a voice, we created three thematic videos.

๐Ÿ“ฝ๏ธ The first video presents ๐‹๐ข๐Ÿ๐ž ๐จ๐ง ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐๐จ๐ซ๐๐ž๐ซ โ€” a package of stories from ๐‡๐ฎ๐ง๐ ๐š๐ซ๐ฒ, ๐’๐ฅ๐จ๐ฏ๐ž๐ง๐ข๐š, ๐š๐ง๐ ๐‘๐จ๐ฆ๐š๐ง๐ข๐š.

These stories come from places where borders were not only marked on maps, but felt in everyday life. They influenced how people moved, worked, communicated, listened, remembered, and belonged.

Eight years ago, with the ๐“๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ข๐ฌ๐ฆ ๐Ÿ’.๐ŸŽ initiative, we began exploring how data, advanced technologies, and stakeholder collaboration could contribute to better tourism management. Today, we are excited to announce the launch of ๐…๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ฑ ๐Ÿ’.๐ŸŽ, a new research and innovation programme that builds on this vision and opens new opportunities for the use of artificial intelligence, digital twins, and data-driven decision-making in tourism.

๐ŸŒŽ Flux 4.0 brings together 12 partners from industry and academia who will, over the next three years, develop:

๐Ÿ”น advanced data models for understanding tourism flows
๐Ÿ”น destination digital twins
๐Ÿ”น forecasting systems for visitor management and spatial planning
๐Ÿ”น solutions for reducing the environmental footprint of tourism
๐Ÿ”น models for strengthening destination resilience
๐Ÿ”น specialised AI solutions for tourism

๐ŸŽฏ The project aims to establish a comprehensive data ecosystem that will support sustainable destination management, provide deeper insights into tourism impacts, and enable more effective collaboration among tourism stakeholders.

๐Ÿš€ One of the project's key outcomes will be the development of the ๐…๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ฑ ๐Ÿ’.๐ŸŽ ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐š๐ญ๐Ÿ๐จ๐ซ๐ฆ and a prototype ๐๐ข๐ ๐ข๐ญ๐š๐ฅ ๐ญ๐ฐ๐ข๐ง ๐Ÿ๐จ๐ซ ๐ญ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ข๐ฌ๐ฆ, enabling real-time data monitoring, scenario simulations, and decision support at local, regional, and national levels.

The project continues the long-term efforts of the Tourism 4.0 community to advance data-driven, inclusive, and responsible tourism, while creating new opportunities for the application of artificial intelligence and advanced digital technologies for the benefit of destinations, tourism businesses, and visitors alike.

Throughout the project, ๐๐ข๐ ๐ข๐ญ๐š๐ฅ ๐œ๐š๐ฉ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ž ๐š๐ง๐ ๐Ÿ‘๐ƒ ๐๐จ๐œ๐ฎ๐ฆ๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐œ๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐š๐ฅ ๐ก๐ž๐ซ๐ข๐ญ๐š๐ ๐ž ๐ฌ๐ข๐ญ๐ž๐ฌ ๐š๐ญ ลฝ๐š๐›๐ฅ๐ฃ๐š๐ค ๐‚๐ซ๐ง๐จ๐ฃ๐ž๐ฏ๐ขฤ‡๐š ๐š๐ง๐ ๐…๐จ๐ซ๐ญ ๐†๐จ๐ซ๐šลพ๐๐š were carried out, a series of training workshops on digital innovation for cultural heritage were delivered, a digital platform featuring the project's learning materials and results was established, and a call for innovative concepts in digital heritage interpretation was launched.

The project also joined the ๐„๐ฎ๐ซ๐จ๐ฉ๐ž๐š๐ง ๐“๐ฐ๐ข๐ง๐ˆ๐ญ ๐ข๐ง๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐š๐ญ๐ข๐ฏ๐ž, contributing two digital 3D models of cultural heritage to the European data space.

๐ŸคThe event brought together 63 Slovenian and Austrian companies and experts from different sectors to discuss how green transition, innovative energy solutions and digital technologies can help the Alpine region address climate challenges while creating new opportunities for the economy, tourism and sport.

๐Ÿ’กDuring the panel โ€œ๐ƒ๐ข๐ ๐ข๐ญ๐š๐ฅ ๐’๐จ๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐ฌ: ๐“๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ข๐ฌ๐ฆ ๐š๐ง๐ ๐’๐ฉ๐จ๐ซ๐ญ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐…๐ฎ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐žโ€, Urลกka highlighted the importance of data and digital technologies for more sustainable tourism development. As an example of good practice, she referred to the ๐ƒ๐„๐๐‹๐Ž๐˜๐“๐Ž๐”๐‘ โ€œ๐’๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ๐š๐ข๐ง๐š๐›๐ฅ๐ž ๐“๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ข๐ฌ๐ฆ ๐Œ๐š๐ง๐š๐ ๐ž๐ฆ๐ž๐ง๐ญ ๐ข๐ง ๐€๐ฅ๐ฉ๐ข๐ง๐ž ๐‘๐ž๐ ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐ฌโ€ ๐ฉ๐ข๐ฅ๐จ๐ญ, in which Arctur is involved, focusing on the use of AI and data analytics to better understand tourism flows, environmental impacts and carrying capacities of destinations.

V okviru evropskega projekta Phoenix 4.0 (Single Market Programme โ€“ SMP COSME) vabimo k sodelovanju zunanjega strokovnjaka za ocenjevanje projektnih predlogov slovenskih turistiฤnih MSP.

Program podpira inovativne in sodelovalne projekte na podroฤju trajnosti, odpornosti in digitalne preobrazbe, izbrani projekti pa prejmejo nepovratna sredstva v viลกini 25.000 โ‚ฌ.

๐Ÿ‘‰ K sodelovanju vabimo strokovnjake z izkuลกnjami na podroฤju:
โœ”๏ธ turizma in EU projektov (min. 5 let)
โœ”๏ธ trajnostnih, odpornih ali digitalnih inovacij
โœ”๏ธ slovenskega turistiฤnega okolja
โœ”๏ธ aktivnega znanja slovenลกฤine in angleลกฤine (B2 ali veฤ)

Naloge vkljuฤujejo ocenjevanje prijav, sodelovanje na spletnih evalvacijskih sreฤanjih ter ocenjevanje projektnih predstavitev (pitch).

โœ”๏ธ aktivnim znanjem slovenลกฤine in angleลกฤine (najmanj B2).

Naloge vkljuฤujejo strokovno in vsebinsko ocenjevanje prijav, sodelovanje na spletnih evalvacijskih sreฤanjih ter ocenjevanje predstavitev (pitch). Plaฤilo je doloฤeno v obliki pavลกalnega zneska.

Jutri, 24. februarja 2026, organiziramo kratka individualna spletna svetovanja (30 minut) za turistiฤna MSP, ki razmiลกljajo o prijavi na PHOENIX 4.0 razpis za sodelovalne projekte.
๐Ÿ‘‰ Imate idejo, pa ne veste, ali ustreza razpisu?
๐Ÿ‘‰ Niste prepriฤani, katera vrsta partnerstva je primerna?
๐Ÿ‘‰ Potrebujete usmeritev glede proraฤuna ali upraviฤenih stroลกkov?

V okviru svetovanja boste:
โœ” preverili skladnost vaลกe ideje z razpisom,
โœ” razjasnili administrativne in tehniฤne pogoje,
