The dancing lemurs❤️!!!
Caught mid-air! These two photos show Coquerel’s sifakas doing what they do best—leaping. Unlike other lemurs, they move through the trees by sitting upright and springing from branch to branch using the powerful strength of their back legs. Talk about leg day.
Their mornings start early, near sunrise, when they bask in the treetops soaking up the sun—arms stretched wide—before setting off with their small family groups to forage. By sunset, they may have traveled nearly a mile through the forest, one spectacular jump at a time.
