Explore To The Crumbling Ruins of ‘Shwe Inn Thein’ Pagodas of Indein.

On the western bank of Inle Lake, in the heart of Myanmar’s jungles, lies the small village of Indein with hundreds of ancient pagodas of many shapes and sizes and in various states of ruin. Some of them have been restored, but most are in the crumbling state overgrown with bushes.

The village is reached only by boat through the Inn Thein creek, a long narrow foliage-cloaked canal that winds through the dense overgrowth. The scenic 8-kilometre boat ride from Inle Lake can be made only in the rainy season and winter, and not in summer as the water becomes too shallow.

SHAN PAPER MAKING

The Shan region was historically close to the birthplace of paper-making, and produces famous, decorative hand-made paper. Like the earliest recorded paper, it is made from the bark of the Mulberry tree that you can learn to do for yourself, and take away your own handmade paper.

TipTwo is a travels & tours company whose members consists of two friends and their two younger brothers. They have a deep friendship and brotherhood and wish to share this with the rest of the world. They established this company, not for commercial or economic benefits, but to provide a friendly and fantastic service whilst making friends with new people. We can learn a lot from people as they can from us. We have been to different foreign countries as scholars as well as visitors. We were not rich travellers so we visit very simple places and embraced local transport. Due to this, we have our deepest sympathies for those who visit Myanmar on a low budget, especially as ATM machines and other conveniences are not yet easily accessible. You can discuss any problems you have with us about your journey and the cost via email [email protected]. We will try to give you the best advice and the best service we can before you are and during your stay here. As this company is run by only family members, we wish to also treat you like you are one of our family.

Tiptwo Travels and Tours aims to provide anyone travelling to Myanmar (Burma) a chance to be involved in the culture and beauty of the country. We want to go off the beaten track and show what everyday life is for people living in Burma.

Our team originates from all over the world and Burma. We are avid travellers ourselves so we know how stressful travelling can be in an unknown place. Whilst also giving an essence of Burma and its people, we aim to be able to provide smooth travel from one destination to the other and to take away any hassles that may arise.

We have tour programs designed for many different purposes and travellers. Our tours included photography tours/research tours/village tours/cooking tours and more..

These tours are optional. There is also an option of designing your own tour in advance, or submitting preferences. As long as we have good notice and an understanding of your needs and budget then we can arrange your own personalised tour.

We can arrange domestic and international air tickets, and bus tickets/hotel reservations. We also have various kinds of cars that are at our disposable for each tour. We also know of car renting services.
