Oceanaxe Holidays is looking for it's opening of office in Surinam, in January 2025 ,a detail-oriented Reservation & Online Travel Agent Specialist ( i.e ,experienced in managing OTA ACCOUNTS such as Booking.com ,Expedia,etc... and at ease with channel managers platforms , to assist our customers with their booking needs, answer customers’ questions, make accommodation suggestions and book activities.

Reservation Agent/OTA specialist Responsibilities:
1.Assisting and advising customers making bookings
2.Making reservations for customers based on their various requirements and budget.
3.Checking the availability of accommodation on the customers’ desired travel dates.
4. Handle and monitor OTA accounts with a channel manager support and a remote team based in the UK.
5.Helping plan travel itineraries by suggesting local tourist attractions and places of interest.
6.Processing payments and sending confirmation details to customers.
7.Sorting out any issues that may arise with bookings or reservations.
8.Selling and promoting reservation services.
9.Answering any questions which customers might have about the reservation process on the phone ,by email, whats app,etc..
10.Up-selling, when appropriate, by informing customers of additional services
11.Providing support to customers who may need to amend or cancel a reservation.
12.Providing World-class communication with the team and Director of Operations and his team on site to ensure every booking is smooth & all relevant info’s shared to the team
Reservation Agent Minimum Requirements:
HSC OR SC Passed Results
Front Office NTC 3 MITD
Experience working in the reservation department of hospitality or travel industries would be ideal ,would be a definite advantage
Customer-service experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
Proficient in Microsoft office suite
Data entry experience
Flexible working hours
