Communication is easy, as the second official language is English.
You can also try learning some Dhivehi words - but we should warn you… it might be challenging, because one word can have several meanings. 😄

Maldīvieši ir ļoti draudzīgi, sirsnīgi, atsaucīgi un ar prieku dalās ar viesiem vislabākajā, ko piedāvā Maldīvas. 🤍
Sazināties ir viegli, jo otrā oficiālā valoda ir angļu valoda.
Vari pamēģināt iemācīties arī dažus vārdus divehi valodā - bet brīdinām, tas var būt sarežģīti, jo vienam vārdam var būt vairākas nozīmes. 😄

to one of the most fun trips - full of laughter, new experiences, and unforgettable moments. 😁
We could probably have reached a Guinness record for the level of our laughter (not very typical for Latvians… but in the Maldives, anything is possible).
4 years later, and the memories are still so warm. 💙

Tas tik bija piedzīvojums 🤩 skaļi smiekli, okeāna atklāšana, dzimšanas dienas, uno un 6.ņem spēļu naktis, saullēkti un saulrieti, uzveikts piepūšamais ūdens banāns, futbola čempionāts, ciemošanās Mattey mājās, jaunbūvē, kas nu jau ir viesu nams Frangipani Fulhadhoo, un arī pirmā pieredze snorkelēšanā, kas nu jau ir kļuvusi par hobiju vairāku gadu garumā, arī Latvijā🥰🏝️
