ދޫކުރާ ބިމުގެ ބޮޑުމިނަކީ ކޮންމެ ބިމެއްގައި 1200 އަކަ ފޫޓެވެ. އެގޮތަށް ދޫކުރާ ބިންތަކުގެ ކުރިމަތީގައި ބަފަރ ޒޯނެއްގެ ގޮތުގައި 300 އަކަފޫޓުގެ ގްރީން އޭރިއާ، ދެމެހެއްޓެނެވި ރުއްގަސް އާލާ ކުރެވޭނެހެން ރައްކާތެރި ގޮތުގައި ބަލަންވާނެ ކަމަށް ވެސް ކައުންސިލުން ވިދާޅުވިއެވެ.

The team who joined the turtle festival last weekend returned bearing gifts from the council and community of Kendhikulhudhoo. 🙏

Kanamadhu nuts, also known as sea almonds, are the edible seeds of the Terminalia catappa tree, commonly found in tropical coastal regions, including the Maldives

The nuts, enclosed within a hard, green-to-brown outer husk, are prized for their slightly sweet and nutty flavour and are enjoyed as a natural snack or are also used in cooking eespecially cakes and desserts.

Receiving these as a gift is a wonderful reflection of local hospitality and an opportunity to taste a truly Maldivian delicacy!
