The beginning of March is our first joint step into spring. Here in the sunny side of life, we can’t really feel this changing of the season, but we can help capture the mood of everything blossoming and brightening, with things changing for the better and filling us with hope. That, by the way, is why a sun-kissed getaway to the Maldives is a great idea at any time!

As International Women’s Day 🌷also takes place at this time of year, it’s become our tradition to get together with our friends and colleagues to welcome in the spring. In times good or bad, Women’s Day gives us a chance to meet up, share positive energy and ideas, and to envelop ourselves in the warm and supportive embrace of our friends and colleagues.

When things are changing so profoundly all around us, the best response we can personally give is to radiate calm, professionalism, mutual respect and the enjoyment that comes from a job well done. Shortly before we took the much longer journey to Cannes for this year’s , we were privileged to get an early look around .Here Baa Atoll Maldives, a property our partners around the world have been asking so many questions about.

It really was a joyful experience meeting the team, who were all so excited to share their new baby with us. Arriving from Finolhu Maldives, a resort we’ve been repeat visitors at for years, we thoroughly enjoyed exploring this new space through an island tour, private sandbank party and fire show. The concept and attention to detail here is particularly strong, with a huge emphasis on stillness and intimacy. The vibe is artistic, and you can feel the presence of Finolhu in the colours and understated luxury.

Uniquely, each villa offers both beach and water access, which means your clients won’t need to decide between the two. Each villa also offers both ocean and lagoon views, which means guests can start their day with an ocean sunrise and bring it to a magnificent end watching the sun dip over the lagoon. In between, your clients can lie back or splash around in their own private 45-metre infinity pool on the upper of the villa’s two storeys (on a side note, we also absolutely loved the Natura Bissé amenities, as well as the culinary skills of executive chef Georgios Vasilopoulos. The dual parts of the resort, Somewhere and Nowhere, are also closely linked to their sister property, Finolhu, providing all the extra benefits of a second resort just a short speedboat ride away from your own private jetty.
While the two ultra-exclusive residences on Nowhere - including a five- bedroom Presidential Beach Residence with its own cinema, beach and Fehi Wellness private spa - will open early next year, the five 3-bedroom residences and two 4-bedroom residences on Somewhere can already be booked.

Hot on the heels of summer, the first two months of 🍁 were velvety, smooth and inspiring for us. In September Loop Beyond Borders was the first experience of Azerbaijan for some of our partners - thanks to for selecting such an incredible destination for three meeting-packed and productive days. As we gear up for the high season, we’re already seeing lots of positive results. Straight after Loop, we were at , where the buzz was all about the confirmation of the schedule for direct flights to the . We then headed from the Caspian Sea to the Mediterranean, making new connections and deepening relationships in Spain.🇪🇸We kicked off October by the Atlantic with an intimate gathering of our partners together with .hotels in Lisbon. It was a warm and balmy evening on a terrace overlooking the old town and the ocean. We swapped stories, updates and also brought a special gift direct from for a complimentary stay, as well as lots of news on the resort’s recent upgrades which one of our partners will now be able to see for herself. ✈️ As we moved into the middle of the month, we got some lovely feedback on the candle-making workshop we hosted together with . We brought October to a close with some much-needed joy and mindfulness, managing to completely switch off and rejuvenate ourselves together with . “It was a really fantastic atmosphere to finish a busy autumn working day. The sound healing was so well done,” our founder Julia remembers.💭If our paths haven’t yet crossed this autumn, the last quarter of the year always gives plenty of chances to catch-up, dress up and share all the latest news. This week, Musthafa and Iram will be meeting more than 40 worldwide buyers during their time at in Bali, while Julia and Musthafa will also be in Puglia for from November 10th to 14th. Finally, we hope to see as many of you as possible when we head to Cannes for in December. As ever, we’ll be really happy to connect!

Over the past eight years, has gathered highly skilled professionals who are also bright and inspiring individuals, which is also the core ethos of how we plan our Fam trips. This year, our team member Alina joined a group of our partners on a journey to Conrad Rangali Island, where she was also able to welcome a new day in paradise with a sunrise session. It was a deeply special moment - in silence, enveloped in nature, and calmly guided through her practice by Manesh, Conrad’s resident instructor. Here’s Alina with her reflections on an unforgettable wellness moment:
💭”This was my first yoga experience, and I couldn’t think of a better place for it to happen. I walked across the bridge joining the islands in the early morning sun rays, finding a yoga pavilion hidden in tropical vegetation, with the ocean breeze and palm trees swaying in the background. Of course I was unsure of what to do at the very beginning, but with the help of the yoga instructor I found real inner harmony, a place where I felt so calm and serene. And the final piece of magic: there was a brief rain shower when we finished, and I walked back to my room looking at a rainbow arcing over the Indian Ocean.’

Another truly special wellness moment was our participation in the social project, which was celebrated worldwide in more than 170 countries on 14 June. Julia, our founder, is proudly into her second year as this worldwide initiative’s ambassador for the Maldives.
💭”It was an uplifting and mutually energising day. Under the theme of , we came together as a community to share a wave of fun and positivity that we carried through the entire experience, culminating with a Zumba event soundtracked by local groups singing along to the Boduberu drums and the warm embrace of our wonderful Maldivian culture.’

Here at Bliss Maldives we all agree that wellness is a sensation that’s always worth sharing. It’s not always something that’s so easy to
describe, but you absolutely know what it is when you see, feel and let it flow through you.

Wellness is intensely personal and touches each of us in different ways. It could be doing exercise, eating healthily, sharing quality time with
children, or something as simple as just drinking a glass of pure water. At heart, it’s also a mental process. While it’s easy to misunderstand or
misconstrue each other, the first step is to be positive, open and to treat other people - and yourself - with kindness, always giving them your time and full attention. When you find the balance in everything you do, that is true wellness.

As we approach World Wellness Weekend on September 19th - 21st, later this week we’ll be sharing our dialogue with world-renowned yoga practitioner Emilia Métaireau, which we recorded during her Yoga Retreat at the InterContinental Maldives Maamunagau Resort in June.
We’ll also be reflecting on our team member Alina’s first ever yoga experience on a Blissful Getaway at Conrad Maldives Rangali Islands earlier this year.

We wrapped up the summer with the warmth of another award from our industry colleagues at the TTM Awards & Gala 2025, after an inspiring week of events including insightful meetings at the newly opened The Barceló Nasandhura Malé and another memorable Awards & Gala Night at Adaaran Select Hudhuran Fushi. As always, it was a gathering of the very brightest stars, who weren’t disturbed by the occasional rainfall as they caught up after a busy summer season. The most valuable thing for us is the recognition these awards give of our team’s continuing hard work to make us a top producer and promoter in different markets. We’re so proud to be a member of the travel community and are grateful to be recognised by our friends and partners in this way.

Exclusive is an overused word nowadays, but on Monday July 28th our partners had the privilege of a genuine exclusive event from our friend, and rising star of Conrad Maldives Rangali Islands sales and marketing team, Wardhaа Ahmed.

As well as describing the resort’s twin islands, twin ambience concept, the different options for adults and families travelling with kids, and about the very best snorkelling spots to see whale sharks and manta rays up close, Wardha took us on a personal tour of Ithaa - we were thrilled to see with our own eyes the approach and entrance to the world’s first underwater restaurant, how it looks and feels from the inside, and the fantastic array of both multi-coloured marine life and vintage champagne. Our virtual tour was immersive in every sense and absolutely the next best thing to being there in person!

One lucky agent will soon be able to enjoy the experience in real life as Wardha ended our ‘stay’ by promising a voucher for a two-night stay on half-board basis for the first of our partners to make a booking for the property with Bliss Maldives.

It’s always a treat to explore , so many thanks once again to Aakash Kapur, the new assistant director of sales at The Nautilus Maldives, for refreshing our knowledge of this wonderful, long - established resort. We were already huge fans of the beyond time concept so it was fascinating to hear the story behind it, as well as so much new information about their August schedule of events - especially their eagerly anticipated partnership with Ananda in the Himalayas.
