Festival del Lago, located in Ajijic, México, is an immersive two weeks of music apprenticeship for students from precollege to young professional.

There is nothing more intense on a stage than a flamenco performance at La Cochera Cultural, a 5-minute walk from your favourite vacation rental resort! Three dancers, one box drummer, one guitarist, one vocalist, and six hands clapping. One dancer is direct from Madrid.

They play here several times per year, next time will be August.

Casita Escondida ... progress in week #2 was mainly in the bathroom.

Amazing progress on Casita Escondida after just one week. Truckloads of clean concrete sand, dirtier mortar sand, crushed rock, backfill material, clay bricks, glass blocks all carried from the street by hand. Foundations are in place, up to grade level. Castillo re-bar is in place. The soil stack is connected to household sewer.

Coming soon - the 3 steel roof beams. We will be closed in before rainy season. Ready for show on August 1, ready for short or mid-term rentals by September 1.
