Due to the extraordinary interest of anti-hunters and other uninformed Facebook users on my site I have constructed the following response: Get a grip and attempt to defend a cause that you can at least understand. I hope that anti-hunting is not your only area of interest as you are uninformed and ignorant of what my company does and hunting as a whole. Hunters actually promote conservation and put hundreds of thousands of dollar towards it - as hunters - out of our pockets. How much money and time have you and the rest of the anti-everything people put towards a cause out of your own pocket? Please educate yourself and stop embarrassing yourself in the public realm, i.e. my page on Facebook. Any further comments with foul language and threats will be handle accordingly and transferred to the appropriate authorities. I will not tolerate any more abusive emails and threats. further comments are however welcome. I sincerely apologize to any upstanding people that are following this page who have been offended or harassed as a result of this nonsense. I appreciate your support.

Rodney has finished up his tremendously successful hunt and is heading back to the States. My good friend Ronnie Richardson and my brother Wells have now joined me and have gone straight from the plane to the mountains with gun in hand…they have not wasted any time and have been rewarded nicely for their ambition with some spectacular trophies. Another successful Hunt!

This mountain isn’t getting any easier to hike up and down…but all of our efforts have been worth it!

We shot 2 old Arapawa Ram and we finally got the Red Stag we wanted. The Red Stag is a magnificent creature, ranking in as the largest deer species. It is native to Europe, Asia and, interestingly, is the only deer species to inhabit Africa. It was first introduced into New Zealand in 1851 and has done very well due to the lack of predators. New Zealand has the best trophy quality and genetics for this species.

The Arapawa is a breed of feral sheep found in New Zealand that were introduced in 1867 from the “mainland” Australia. It is considered as a rare breed of sheep and the rams have a stunning set of horns as you can see in the photo.

We grilled a tenderloin from the Tahr Rodney shot the day before and it was great.
