This beautiful church isn’t just another colonial building. The Iglesia de Santo Domingo de Guzmán was originally built in the 17th century, but it was burned during the Caste War of Yucatán.
What you see today is a stunning reconstruction, decorated with colorful floral and geometric patterns that make it one of the most unique churches in all of Mexico.

Esta hermosa iglesia no es solo un templo colonial más. La Iglesia de Santo Domingo de Guzmán fue construida en el siglo XVII, pero fue incendiada durante la Guerra de Castas de Yucatán.
