It’s no secret that Halloween Horror Nights is my absolute FAVORITE event at Universal. 🎃

For a brief moment, I thought I might be able to sneak away for a weekend and go this year… but with too many other trips already on the agenda, it’s unfortunately not happening. Please respect my privacy during this difficult time. 😂

If you’ve never experienced HHN, it’s so much more than haunted houses. The elaborate sets, scare zones, live entertainment, themed food and overall atmosphere completely transform Universal Studios after dark. It’s spooky, chaotic and ridiculously fun!

🍬 FOODIE FRIDAY: Bake My Day 🍬

If you’re walking through Minion Land at Universal Studios Florida and need a little sweet treat, Bake My Day is one of my FAVORITE stops. 💕 It’s right near the front of the park, you can’t miss the giant pink cupcake! 🧁

They have cupcakes, cake pops, cookies, s’mores and all kinds of goodies, but I usually head straight for the macarons because they’re the perfect little snack when I want something sweet without committing to a giant dessert.

Light, delicious, raspberry-champagne perfection. I am OBSESSED.

Apparently I’m not the only one either. 😂 The last time I visited, I walked in fully expecting to grab my usual and… IT WAS GONE. I actually asked if they stopped selling it and was immediately relieved when she told me, “Nope, we’re just out.”

So consider this your warning: if you see the Raspberry Ch*****ne Macaron, GET IT. 😂

🍹 THIRSTY THURSDAY: Chicago edition 🍹

If you like your cocktails with a little mystery and a LOT of personality, Three Dots and a Dash absolutely needs to be on your Chicago list- our waiter at the one of the hotel bars told us to check it out, and it did not disappoint!

Hidden underground with the coolest speakeasy-meets-tiki vibe, this place is an experience from the minute you walk in, and the cocktails are just as fun as the atmosphere.

Our picks:

🍓 Strawberry Junglebird 💀

And yes… those skulls mean something. 😂 The menu actually rates each cocktail by strength using skulls. One skull is on the lighter side, and the more skulls you see, the more you might want to buckle up. 💀💀💀

Three Dots and a Dash has also earned recognition as one of the top bars in the U.S., and after experiencing it, I totally get the hype.

Come for “one drink.” Stay because you need to see what arrives at the next table. 😂🍹

Wildcard Wednesday 😂 …. It’s about 11:30 PM at Boulangerie, the 24-hour cafe and bro said “Yeahhhh, lemme get about 14 of those wraps to go.” 💀😂

One thing about Palace Resorts… you are NOT going hungry. And this gentleman was clearly determined to make sure of it. 😂

Some of the restaurants may have set hours, but when the late-night hunger hits? You’ve still got options between Boulangerie AND room service. Coffee, pastries, sandwiches, wraps, desserts… or apparently enough wraps to feed a small village. 😂

Honestly, I respect the commitment. Sir had a PLAN.

Just another little thing I loved about The Grand Punta Cana, because nobody should be wandering around an all-inclusive at midnight wondering where the snacks are. 🙌

The most expansive U.S. version! It includes Super Mario Land and Donkey Kong Country with three attractions: Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge, Yoshi’s Adventure and Mine-Cart Madness.

🎮 UNIVERSAL STUDIOS JAPAN
The original SUPER NINTENDO WORLD has also expanded to include Donkey Kong Country! Like Orlando, it features Mario Kart, Yoshi’s Adventure and Mine Cart Madness, plus its own dining, shopping and interactive experiences.

Full disclosure: I have not experienced the Japan location myself…yet! But based on the lineup, Japan and Orlando offer the most complete experiences, while Hollywood packs plenty of interactive fun into a much smaller space.

Studio Sunday 🖤 The first time I laid eyes on the Dark Universe portal... and what a beauty. 😍

From the moment I walked through this portal, I knew it was going to be my favorite land in Epic Universe. The atmosphere is incredible, the music sets the mood, the details are unreal, and even the dining is completely themed. They didn't just build a land... they created an experience.

Scary thrills are definitely my jam, and Dark Universe checks every box. Whether you're escaping Frankenstein's Manor, grabbing a bite in the village, or just wandering around taking it all in, there's something around every corner.

Now let's talk rumors... 👀 I'm hearing whispers that Creature from the Black Lagoon could be part of a future expansion, and if that's true... I am SO here for it.

Universal absolutely knocked it out of the park with this one, and I already can't wait to see what they dream up next.
