Hola everyone,
Are you ready for a once-in-a-lifetime experience? We have a few seats left for a Baby Sea Turtle release in Escobilla. This incredible tour will leave you with memories you’ll cherish forever! We will pick you up at your hotel around 4:00 PM, then drive about 1 hour and 25 minutes towards Puerto Escondido on Highway 200. We will reach Escobilla where the turtle sanctuary is located, one of the most important in the world. There are biologists, local co-op works volunteering & marines working in this turtle camp. They work 24/7 and collect some turtle eggs to protect in a hatchery. The babies are usually released around 6:30 to 7:30 PM.

In Chiapas, we will visit colonial cities that embody authentic Mexican culture. Chiapas holds the legacy of Spanish rule alongside the remnants of the Mayan civilization. On our tour, we will explore the pine forests, rainforest jungles, and the rich history of Mexico’s southernmost state.

We will visit Tuxtla Gutiérrez, explore San Juan Chamula, and then head to San Cristóbal de las Casas. We will also see the Mayan archaeological site of Chinkultik, witness the natural beauty of El Cañon del Sumidero, and finally partake in the Parachico festival, which is unique to Chiapas.

Oscar Velasquez is offering a tour departing from Huatulco on January 20, 2025 returning to Huatulco on January 24th, 2025. This is a limited-time tour with limited seating.

In the 1990s, the Ventanilla community was nothing more than a coconut plantation with three families living there, and did not have electricity until 1999. Today, the area is home to about twenty five Zapotec families who are dedicated to preserving the ecology of both the beach and the lagoon and live in a small vilage.
