Cuicuilco Pyramid, Mexico City. The oldest pyramid in this area. The whole area abandoned around 200AD when a small volcano (Xitle) popped up and pumped lava in this area for about 70 years. Approximately 30 square miles of solid lava (Pedregal). I like to visit this place and hike around on the trails and go to the top of the famous round pyramid. Here, you get a sense of what this area was like before it was all paved over like it is today. My father visited this place in 1955. Come hungry.

Taco Tuesday! Michelin Star Maizajo Taco Bar. In Condesa, Mexico City. Great lunch with my brother-in-law, Luis. Here they make their own great tasting tortillas. Everything was good. Then a very good coffee just down the street at a place called '%'. Here they roast their own beans they get from different places in the world. It was very good. Come hungry!
