Want to be fluent in Spanish? 📚

I currently have openings for both adults and children—so if you've been thinking about learning Spanish, now is the perfect time! 📅

I'm a former bilingual education teacher with years of experience and now I freelance and teach online. My Spanish & English are both native.

I design my classes based on your level and needs! I focus on grammar, conversation, and visuals to make learning engaging and effective. 📚

P.S. I also offer English classes and tutoring for children. Send me a message to learn more!

Hello! I started a Children's Learning Channel on YouTube to create videos that include learning Spanish. Some of you may know, that I create worksheets on Teachers Pay Teachers, which is an expansion of it. I'm trying to reach 1000k followers and I'd be happy if you could subscribe. You can share the channel with your children, nieces, nephews, teachers who can use these in the classroom, and children learning English or Spanish! Ideas are welcome and I'll be adding a lot more videos in the next few weeks. Here is my channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCOl2XOqBuPtkcPM79f-ON9g

Before the night ends, I just want to express how blessed I feel for another year of life. 🙏🏽✨️

A few years back, I had an entire idea of how my life should look by a certain age. However, what the last few years have taught me is that there is no defined age for living X type of life or accomplishing X dream. ✨️

I'm living a completely different version of a life I imagined, but I love the life I'm living. The last years have taught me that I'm not too old to dream and that God has so much more in store for my life. I'm thankful for 38 yrs of life. I'm truly blessed. ✨️

Also, I'm thankful for every single message that came through today wishing me a happy birthday 🎂 thank you for those stories, the gifts, and your beautiful words.

Thank you to the ladies in Mexico who celebrated with me. Your company is worth everything. ✨️ I'm so happy to be surrounded by inspiring women like you all. .arra .cova

Lastly, what a place to have my birthday dinner! The city view was incredible!

I'll share more tomorrow!

I'm always asked if I'm scared of living in Mexico City 🇲🇽 but the answer is no.

The only thing I'm scared of is being in the shower when an earthquake happens 😅😅😅

I love living here, but this week, we had 3 earthquakes that left me a little nervous, haha. I don't like them. Especially when I think about México City's history of earthquakes 🙈

I had felt them before when I lived in LA and Medellin, but let me tell you, even the 3 scale ones are felt much stronger here. The reason is that the city is built upon a lake on soft soil. So, an earthquake is felt intensified here 🥲

The size 3 ones I felt this week, felt like 5s. The 5.8 one felt like last year's 7.7. And last years felt...well, much bigger!

Let's just say I hope the earth decides to calm down now 😂 and we get no more earthquakes the rest of this year. I want peaceful holidays 🎅🌲💃🏽

For now, I need to prepare my earthquake kit and buy a robe, in case I'm in the shower 😂😂

Who's else dislikes earthquakes? Or have you felt one?

Taxco ♥️ One of the prettiest Pueblos Mágicos in Mexico. It's small, but you can do a lot. Here are some things:

1. Explore the white washed town streets.
2. Go to the Cristo Rey for a lovely viewpoint.
3. Ride the teleferico, more beautiful views.
4. Go on a Silver Mine Tour.
5. Buy silver jewelry. The town is known for this.
6. Explore waterfalls and caves nearby.
7. Eat at a restaurant with a rooftop.
8. Go on a Tour of Joan Sebastián's eanch/town.

You can hire a taxi to give you a full day tour of everything, or you can move around the town in the combi (van) or pay taxis.

If you go for one day from Mexico City, you can take the earliest bus and return on the latest. Round-trip will be about 525mxn.

Let me share a little secret...👟

[ad] 👟 One way I save money through my travels is by visiting places during the rainy season! 🙈 Yup! I will book that flight to new cities when the forecast predicts rain because it'll rain, but it most likely won't be all day! 🌧👟

However, I now have the solution to wear the right shoes for rainy weather!👟🌧

Currently, I'm in México City and it's been raining every single evening!  But, I took my new Weekend Marble White shoes for an evening stroll in the pouring rain and let me tell you, I was surprised! 👟🌧

My socks were completely dry even after jumping in puddles. No exaggeration there, I promise! 🌧👟

I wish I had seen these shoes before so I could have taken them with me to my rainy season backpacking trip I took through Latin America two years ago. They would have kept my feet dry when I was out exploring. 🤭 👟

I'll be taking these everywhere from now on! Plus, they're comfortable, 100% waterproof, lightweight, cute & stylish, and vegan & cruelty free! 🌧 👟

Xochimilco ♥️🇲🇽

If you visit Mexico City, one of my most recommended places to go is the neighborhood of Xochimilco. 🇲🇽

Here you will find the famous trajineras: boats that go down the man made canals. The entire one hour boat ride is 600 MXN (per boat, not per person).🇲🇽

There are various embarcaderos (piers). The one shown here is Nativitas and is busier than others, meaning there is more Mariachi Music playing and it is much more lively. 🇲🇽

On the boat ride, you can make stops to eat, other small local boats will offer you food, Mariachi boats will play music for you, etc. 🇲🇽

If you want to have more fun, go with a large group of people on the weekend. If you're traveling solo, don't dismiss the idea of going on your own and asking a group of people to join them. Or, go through a group tour or hostel group! It's worth visiting. 🇲🇽

Any questions?

July recap. ♥️ July was a busy but great month. On day 1, I left for the Dominican Republic and spent two weeks there. Then, the day after I came back to Mexico City, my sister and family arrived for the next two weeks. Here are some special memories.

1. Climbed all the stairs to the Tepozteco mountain! It was tough!
2. Special breakfast in DR.
3. I got the "Dominican Tattoo," which is burning yourself, getting off the motorcycle. It healed, but you can see a scar now.
4. Spent my time at the pool in DR. It was HOT!
5. Family in the city ♥️ We went everywhere!!
6. The best tea with my sister on a rainy day.
7. My plant grew so many leaves when I left to DR. Came back to this beauty.
8. Barbie movie with the niece and nephews.
9. Discovered the coolest library in cdmx.
10. Cool mirrors/maze with family, and we explored SO many museums when they were here.
