Deprived of a nearby beach, Arizonans have frequented seaside escapes, such as Puerto Peñasco (Rocky Point) MX for years.
We intuitively know about the ocean's healing powers because we can feel her effects, long after the retreat is over.
Perhaps it has to do with our "blue-mind" (article below) that facilitates meditative practices, the similarity of salt content in our blood with the sea, or an unconscious universal memory that connects us to the origins of life?
Whatever it may be, the sea continues to charm us and draw us to her, time & time again.

Surya & Mar, Yoga Retreat is the perfect weekend escape at a seaside hermitage- Casa Nirvana. Not only has Surya & Mar been carefully planned, the retreat is ALL inclusive (yoga 2x a day, meals, mindful activities, & much more). Additionally, the ratio of yoga teachers to students is unparalleled (3 teachers, 14 students MAX), making Surya & Mar truly unique experience, fostering an ideal environment for growth & rejuvenation.
